Glover played for you for years , didn't he ? He only played the one season for us, but what a season ! He left his mark alright.

More than any other position, YouTube highlights are utterly useless for a goalkeeper. You either show saves or muck ups, not much in between. I could  put together a video of Ederson errors/misses this season alone that would make him look like a league 2 standard keeper.

Just give the lad a chance.

It's not just the YouTube video mate, it's the overwhelming reaction of regular A League viewers saying he's garbage. I post on a forum with a sports section dedicated to the A League and posters there were genuinely baffled as to how he managed to get a move to England.

You say give him a chance but he's played in the last 3 Carabao Cup matches for us and been at fault for the majority of the goals we've conceded.

If we make it past Port Vale, Dieng HAS to play for the rest of the tournament, I don't care how fair it is, you play your best players at this stage.

I’m sure QPR fans didn’t rate Dieng at all either and also seen a similar you tube video of his.

I'm not sure you could scrape together enough footage to make a highlights video of Dieng before he signed for QPR.

That's a real stretch. Dieng looked solid last season, even in a poor Rs team, and I remember thinking he'd be a great signing for us if we couldn't keep Steffen. Yes, you can make anyone look like a tit if you spend enough time editing a YouTube reel, but when I've seen Glover with my own eyes, he doesn't look confident or especially agile. Dieng has his flaws - if he didn't, he wouldn't be in the Championship - but suggesting Dieng is as poorly regarded by QPR fans as Glover is by Australians is nonsense, I'm afraid.

We paid Boro' what was an enormous £200,000 in 1989 for Dean. Nine years at the Vale follow & he was by far the best defender I've ever seen in a Vale shirt....👍💖

I was just about to ask how likely it was the game would be streamed this evening. Wonderful news! Has quite a big game feel I think...?

Opera Browser works very well as a Browser (it's the one I use as my main Browser) and it has a free VPN built into it which works pretty well on most occasions. The Free VPN just has options of Optimal, Europe, Asia and Americas. It's random so you could be in Sweden. Switzerland, Netherlands or Germany for example if "in Europe".

One thing I have noticed however is that if the VPN is set to "Optimal" it sometimes suffers from a lot of buffering but setting it to "Europe" seems to alleviate that issue.

Some of the streaming sites don't run well with ad blocker but if it's a decent quality stream I just turn off for the duration of the game, ads don't pop up on the actual match coverage just around the area of the page outside the video frame so just put it to full screen mode (which is pretty much what most of us would do anyway) and you don't see them or hear them.

Thanks mate - I use NordVPN so tend to watch our games from sunny Spain 😄

Was wondering if anyone had spotted a foreign site that charges natives a few quid to stream the match. Like a foreign equivalent of the Sky Sports day pass that NowTV do for example. As will happily pay to see it in decent quality.
