BORO v Coventry City 1-3 (Coburn)

It's a bit of a Christmas miracle we've performed as well as we have the last 5 or so games, I'd say we would put together a better team with our missing players than what we've got available at the moment.

Thinking a draw for this one, we haven't done well against Coventry.

I fancy us to break to Coventry hoodoo tomorrow for some reason. I predicted 8 points from the last 5 games and we got 9 so we over performed my expectations, so I fancy us to do it.

What line up do you anticipate and what you would do instead?

Glover, Bangura, Rav, Fry, Dijksteel, Howson, Barlaser, Greenwood, Rogers, Jones, ...... Anyone's guess but maybe he plays both Engel and Bangura and play Greenwood up top? He can't be less affective than he has been on the left lately!

I would drop Kavanagh in there. I think having a recognized CF and focal point made a big difference against Udders.

Who is your favourite ever second choice Boro keeper?

Probably Crossley. There was a period of time when Schwarzer was out and Crossley played brilliantly. I thought he should have kept his place but Schwarzer was straight back in when he returned.

Would we have faired better than Luton in the Premiership, if we'd faced (and defeated) them at Wembley instead of Coventry?

I think we'd have kept Chuba, signed Giles and Archer. I fancy us to have faired better than Sheff United and Burnley, but fair play to Luton they're making a great fist of it

What are your plans for New Years Eve?

Going to the neighbours house, kids are having a dance party while we have a few beers and a respectable early night. My daughter will be up by 7am either way tomorrow so staying up just isn't worth it anymore!

Sunderland v Preston early kick off.

If Sunderland drop points, we're in to the top 6 with a win if we score at least 5 goals without reply and we've improved on Bristol City's result by at least 2 goals. 👍

Simple stuff, promotion here we come.

Hopefully we can make a better go of it than we have recently against Coventry. They've had our number every time we've played them this last year.

What line up do you anticipate and what you would do instead?

Shame mcgree has gone just as he's fit again. He would have offered us a lot.

I'd have:

Glover

Dijk Fry VDB Engel

Howson Barlaser

Jones Rogers Greenwood

Coburn

Who is your favourite ever second choice Boro keeper?

I'll say Brad Jones as he was in goal for the Steaua game. And we mugged liverpool getting 2 mil I think it was for him.

Would we have faired better than Luton in the Premiership, if we'd faced (and defeated) them at Wembley instead of Coventry?

Probably not. I think the unfortunate incident with Lockyer has galvanised the team and they might just stay up this year.

What are your plans for New Years Eve?

I had a quiet one playing some board games and watching the naff BBC coverage of some has-beens wailing on.
