Just had to say well done on last night, seriously congratulations and all that.     Must have been some atmosphere up there, fans would have been real excited.    I know it's only a job half-done but

Chelsea having a 10 day rest before the second leg is annoying. They only have a home game against Fulham at the weekend to think of.

It's disappointing but the perhaps they'll be a little bit rusty, you never know.

Any reason why there is no information anywhere on the official attendance for last nights game?

I can't see it on the BBC match report but I've no idea why. Too many to count?

Well done fellas.

Brilliant result.

You all put Wembley in your satnavs yet?😁

Thst was done in after the Huddersfield game.

I've just booked a hotel in 2025 near Estadio de San Mamés in Spain for the Europa league final

32k attendance must be a recent record for us @AnglianRed?

The FA Cup games v Spurs and Chelsea were both sell outs but were both in the 31k bracket.

Actually the play off v Coventry got 32k plus as well. More than last nights game

Referee appeared to be operating on the assumption that if a player was still conscious after a tackle, there was no need to give a foul and allowed Josh and Crooks to be battered all night. Kept the game going I suppose, but that sort of attitude is why players get bad injuries.

No, that's what keeps players from rolling around trying to get the play stopped when there is no need for it. Crooks went over his ankle when he went in for the ball. It was never the Chelsea players fault and there was no reason to stop play for it before the ball was back in chelseas half. You stop play for head injuries and I'll applaud refs for letting play on when a tired player is staying on the ground. Letting play on is not why Coburn and Crooks were battered all night. It was simply just the Boro players battling with everything they had. You can't stop play every time a player don't get up.

I guess Hackney's goal sealed his fate. Scoring in a semi-final against a Prem league team pretty much guarantees some hefty bids for him in the summer and it will be hard for him or us to turn them down if we don't get promoted.

Was thinking that too. Certainly also about Jones. Feel like Jones added some "Spence value" like when Spence earned all those plaudits after Forest played Arsenal in the cup. Things will go nuts when Rogers bags a hattrick at the Bridge.

If we get there I'll be taking the train...assuming they aren't all on strike. If thats not an option, I'll make do with the TV.

Did the away leg tickets only sell out this morning or were Boro just late with the announcement?
