Gotta dream because that's what it's all about but don't think there's any way I could predict anything but a Chelsea win, even in their current very inconsistent state. Really hope I'm wrong and that we are at the very least still in the tie after tonight. Regardless of the fortunate draws, getting to a cup final would be an incredible achievement and a wonderful chance to celebrate our club at Wembley again.

well we once faced up in the semi's vs a team no one in the premier league beat all season and beat them twice in a row (probs coz DZ predicted they would beat us twice but thats how it goes sometimes lol)

we need more than a bit of luck, but sometimes maybe a referee can help out just as much as they hold u back, just shame its 2 legs, but at least get double the tv money if get bumped off

It would be great if we got to the final. No doubt Liverpool would be waiting. Much better to put in two good semi performances and get knocked out,but much better to start pushing up the League and getting a playoff spot. The playoffs are a bit of a lottery. We could do it if this window sees a decent striker join us. I'm really not bothered about this Cup. After all we've won it.And I was there.

I honestly don't know what the feeling was like in those games and how we came through them because it was literally just before the time I started to properly become a fan of football and the Boro. I'm sure I watched the games back (or whatever level of highlights were on the 128 Years Later DVD) but I was missing some big context for those games. I never experienced the Invincibles and what it was like to play any form of their team or what we were like for much of that season. I only started following religiously the following season.

All I do remember from watching them back was that, at least for the first game, Arsenal played what looked much like a second string side. I think they brought some of the bigger names into the team in the second leg but it still wasn't quite as good as they could put out? I could be a bit off the mark with saying that which is fair enough. But I guess my real point is that I would not expect that level of change from Chelsea. They will come here with the big guns, they will come to win this game with pretty much everything they've got because this will be Poch's first chance at a cup final and a chance to win his first trophy in English football. At the very least, in his team selection, he will give us every level of respect he has for us and our team. We need another big, big performance to have a chance.

It's not beyond us, you do have to dare to dream, no point turning up if you're defeated before a ball is kicked etc. But I can't see anything other than a win for Chelsea in my head. It won't be my head I'm thinking with during the game tonight, though.
