For me Dieng comes straight back in. Don’t get me wrong Glover has done well stepping in but I think Dieng is still the better keeper.

This. Glover still makes me nervous despite his good form. Feel he has a mistake in him. Those two times v Chelsea when he didn't hold onto the ball scared the life out of me.

So, what do we think happens when Dieng is fit? I’m not sure he displaces Glover.

Glover stays between the sticks, at the moment we have 2 keepers who have played exceptionally well & cant really be blamed for any goals conceded

People were concerned when Dieng was going to the Asia cup due to him playing so well this season, but Glovers come in proved his worth, so should keep his place

That’s the thing, Glover has been at fault for goals that haven’t been conceded. I think Dieng is the better keeper, but we seem to play better as a team with Glover.

Thought Fry and Ayling were outstanding today

yep, midway in second half, i thought fry is having a good game here. then he make a mistake. i blame myself for that. rvb cleared so all was good. rvb btw what a player he is. everytime i see him one v one defending. i think its okay rav will sort it. and he pretty much deals with everything everytime. love the kid.

Glover has done well. But as you say, almost lost us the Chelsea game with mistakes. Those go in and it's a different narrative. Dieng is class and he's our number one.

That 2nd half was one of the most assured performances I've seen. Once we ran Tuesday out of our legs we bosses it. Howson is so key - once he clicks everything works. Hackney will pick that role up.

Ayling got better and better, as did Fry and RVDB.

Really enjoyed my day out.

we are looking like a proper team again. got that fight in us and seem to have some knowhow on the pitch. which has been missing for many years. said it before, when we get the majority of the squad fit again we'll start racking up the W's. we've still be getting wins with half the squad missing. i bet majority of teams inn our league would be far worse than us if their squads were barebones.

Still with Mcgree and O’Brien to get back aswell, the difference those 2 could make is huge.

It was a brilliant win. The performance wasn't the greatest with poor 10/15 minutes spells at the beginning of each half, but after we settled into each half our flashes of quality proved vital. After the mentally and physically draining midweek victory over Chelsea I'm not going to over analyse the negatives as I was always anticipating a tough game against an in form Millwall side. Overall it was a tired performance, best highlighted by the fact that aside from Fry, our better performers were Rogers, Greenwood and Azaz - all of which weren't involved on Tuesday night. Fry was the stand out performer with the way he dominated balls into the box. Ayling performed well also. Azaz showed some good flashes too. When our team was announced I was really pleased to see the strength on our bench with Clarke, O'Brien, Hackney, Crooks and Forss available again. Hopefully we can keep them fit and start to find our rhythm. When Hackney came onto the pitch you could immediately tell he was a class above with the way he opened Millwall up.

The way Forss sweetly struck the ball in for the third is exactly why I'd love to see him given the opportunity to start upfront. A huge amount of praise for that goal needs to go to Rogers for his excellent first touch and early delicate pass to set up Forss. I wouldn't have trusted any of our other players except for McGree to be able to do something so technically difficult. Next season I think Rogers will be a stand out player for us. Greenwood was better at letting moves flow through him - something he's really struggled with. He deserves credit for starting and assisting the move for Engel's goal with clever movement and link-up play. I hope we keep him on loan until the end of the season as he's got good potential and will only get better with time.

Glover has been great in recent weeks but Dieng has still got to be our number 1 as he's still the better goalkeeper. It's remarkable to think that when we signed Glover next to nobody had heard of him, he came from an obscure league, was a free transfer and likely on back-up goalkeeper wages, whereas in previous times we've signed the likes of Stojanovic, Bettinelli and Lumley with the intention of being our number one on highly likely far costlier deals - all on which are far inferior to Glover. It highlights the power of recruiting well and spending our money wisely. Huge credit has to go to Scott and everyone involved in the recruitment side of things as we seem to have got a very good back-up goalkeeper for cheap - One that could even in time develop into a good first-choice goalkeeper.

Quotes from the Millwall manager are funny.

Quote

"We felt that today (Boro's depth). I've felt it in other games as well.

"I remember being stood down there when we were hanging on to a 1-0 lead against Norwich and when I saw the subs they were bringing on I thought 'wow, that's some impact and it will now get harder in the final 20 to 30 minutes.'

"That's something I felt today.

"There's a group of around seven of our players in their tracksuits today who are unable to play and that hurts us."

Yeah, it was definitely Millwall who were only suffering injuries mate.
