The bloody forum is full of people wanting to know stuff that isn’t public knowledge whether it’s transfer news, injury news, team news, or whatever dramas are taking place behind the scenes.

Ask Carrick if he’d base his strategy for an upcoming game on a leaked team from a football forum.  When you get that answer you’ll understand why it doesn’t matter in the slightest.

Precisely this, at the point in which you are receiving and passing on this info there is as much chance that an oppositions manager sees it and WhatsApps the squad to say "forget what we've worked on the last 3 days and double up on Isaiah Jones" than there is that he would rock up at an airport and Diego Forlan our all but done striker because 'Juninhoiscool' divulged his potential flight details.

I would copy Rotherhams tactics against us when we play Chelsea....

  • They need to sort these leaks out, ffs.

Sorry it had to end.     It's unfortunate and wanted you to go through and win it again but it gave the supporters up there something to be involved in that lasted a while.    Never imagined they woul

I know why it doesn’t matter, just can’t be bothered with being slated, both on here and FMTTM, people calling me a traitor, idiot etc 😂

I think it’s wrong to call you a traitor.

Going to be blowing a gale force wind tomorrow night. Which should make it fun. Get those balls over the top to Forss all night long.

I think the problem with that is Forss will be spending most of his time helping out VDB with Sterling.

If Carrick isn't bothered about the team being leaked why did he have a whinge about it earlier in the season?

Shurrup yer pack of fannies 🙄

I don't think I've heard or been called that since I was seven.  🤣🤣🤣

The late great Willie Maddren scored his 1st top flight goal at home to Chelsea, September 1974

John Craggs scored his 1st top flight goal in a 2-1 win at Chelsea, the last time we won there, 22nd March 1974

Terry Cooper also got sent off in his 1st Boro away game

You’d have to ask him but I’d imagine it’s a combination of not wanting any information of any kind to come out from behind the scenes, and the rampant paranoia that seems to effect lots of sports teams for some reason, as if knowing how long someone is likely to be out injured for is going to effect our season.

Carrick stated the other day that Latte Lath wouldn’t be available for this one.  So that’s him giving away team info ahead of the game.  I bet if someone had leaked it instead, or that Jones wouldn’t be available, he wouldn’t have liked it.  It’s about controlling information although god knows what difference they think it makes.  Coaches don’t prepare for games by trying to figure out the XI and gearing everything towards that.  They look at all possibilities, different selections, different formations etc.  You’d be wary of ever picking the same team twice in a row if you were genuinely concerned about the opposition knowing what the team is likely to be beforehand.
