Our brother is a Sunderland fan, there's a big group of them walking from the Stadium of S***e to the Riverside overnight on Saturday to get there in time for sundays game, in support of a Boro fan th

Watching that today though mate, he was "born" offside that lad.

  • Was it Hinchcliffe who was summarising - he said are a “nearly” team and he is bang on there. we did a lot of good stuff today but so often we get in to good positions and then play a poor ball o

Think the most disappointed I ever was about a game was the day we were leading Newcastle 3-1 with 2 minutes to go and managed to salvage a draw after both their full backs scored. Not the sort of result needed with three skunks in the office 🙂

Yea can go with that, I was gutted when their goal went in & TBH with the poor sub decisions I could see us becoming under pressure more & more, which resulted in their poor goal

But once the whistle went I filed it under another annoying Boro result & looked ahead to the next game

And then look ahead to the next game as history repeats itself once again

They don't look like big chances as we miss them by a big distance. I'd say that azaz chance at the weekend was a big chance but he smashed it over the bar by some distance

Thats probably got a lot to do with it.

For me a genuine chance feels like when I'm ready to leap out of my seat, then put my hands on my head when it doesn't go in.

When you can see its going wide, the moment it leaves the player's boot...it doesn't really feel like a chance (even if it does count).

So you are saying you don't think Aziz's effort on Sunday was a good chance? Because it was obvious where that was going as soon as he hit it. But I was still out of my seat when the ball came to him.

Devastated that he didn't think to take a touch, must be confident in his volleys because I thought much the same. Take it first time and a good chance it's going over. But any time a keeper leaves an open goal you're thinking "This must be a goal".

Unless Rudy Gestede was playing, in which case, I tended to think "how will he miss that?"

Question.  As has name Aziz or is his name Azaz?
