But theyre not excuses, they're facts, we've had up to 11 players missing & apart from McGree, we have Cobburn, Late, Jones injured

When can we make excuses & when do they stop?

Oh I understand that, and it was a reason. But we now have all of our midfielders back, a fully fit defence along with backups, forss back, azaz joined, crooks back, mcgree back for the next game, silvera and Greenwood available, coburn hopefully feeling better after our break.

I don't think our injuries right now are particularly worse than anyone else in the league, after a really bad period.

Good win for West Brom today as I thought Moggas team would have turned them over, they are a strange team Albion & could quite easily fall out of the playoff pack

Ipswich down to 4th,  Watford losing, does anyone want to cement that 6th place, teams falling over themselves not to hang in there

Not sure it's been mentioned, but worth noting that again Carrick has name checked forss as a striker in his press conference. To be fair, he did play him there at the start of his reign and only moved him out when Jones had to be taken out of the firing line. And he's been injured for a lot of this season so maybe when Jones is back we'll actually see him used up there.

I'm worried that Forss smile celebration may come back to haunt us at some point against Sunderland. Although I think we will get a result tomorrow. Best case scenario Sunderland go ahead and we win 2 or 3-1

You've got to be very superstitious to think that an almost meaningless 4th goal in the 90th minute of a rout is going to bring karmic retribution 😂

I just hope Carrick sets us up to win the game and get the three points rather than sticking to his principles of playing us into trouble from the back. If it works great but Beale will have them chasing us down and closing outlets off from the kick off, harrying us and trying to force nervous passes. The net effect of that is that they will be vulnerable to long clearances if we utilise it.

With our injuries etc I’d be tempted to utilise where the squad is currently strongest, in midfield and defence.

Go to the 352 we started with against Villa at home, put Thomas in on the left, midfield with 3 of either Hackney, O’Brien, Barlaser or Howson and Azaz or Greenwood attacking with Forrs.
