Carrick saying Hackney played really well at number 10 on Sunday, which I don't agree with at all, I'm hoping he's back in central midfield tomorrow.

Also picked up on that from the presser, I was a bit surprised to hear it. Concerning too, actually, as it's potentially a rare moment of Carrick showing his hand in advance of a game.

I thought he was absolutely anonymous for the first 25-30 minutes of the game on Sunday. Was too many occasions I felt where he was receiving the ball with his back to the action, too. Think he had a few moments where that probably mucked up his intention a tad.

Where do you find the squad list pal?

With Under-21 players not needing to be registered, first-teamers such as Hayden Hackney, Josh Coburn and Rav van den Berg are not on the 24-man list. The EFL registered squad list is as follows:

1. Luke Ayling, 2. Finn Azaz, 3. Alex Bangura, 4. Dan Barlaser, 5. Matt Clarke, 6. Seny Dieng, 7. Anfernee Dijksteel, 8. Lukas Engel, 9. Marcus Forss, 10. Dael Fry, 11. Alex Gilbert, 12. Tom Glover, 13. Sam Greenwood, 14. Matthew Hoppe, 15. Jonny Howson, 16. Isaiah Jones, 17. Jamie Jones, 18. Emmanuel Latte Lath, 19. Darragh Lenihan, 20. Riley McGree, 21. Paddy McNair, 22. Lewis O'Brien, 23. Sammy Silvera, 24. Luke Thomas.

No Crooks.

No Smith.

Lenihan and Bangura included despite being injured.

Hoppe in.

Hello from a Bristol City fan

Ahead of our forthcoming game I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromLogin=1) match thread, which will be posted the day before the match.

I would like to include some perspectives from your fans so if anybody would like to share info please do, anything would be appreciated, fans thoughts about the game, players who have represented both clubs, tales from when we’ve met previously, a fans view on your season, away pubs (seems the usual haunts have closed), etc.

Look forward to receiving info and to a great game.

The Bristol City matchday thread is now up, if anyone wants a read.

I've added it to the OP too!

Enjoyed that read, an excellent in depth write up, which has included 4  of the programmes from my photos on here

I  managed to miss Terry Cooper from the list of players who’ve played for both clubs, school-boy error. Where is the best pub(s) for away fans please?

Carrick does sometimes come out with nonsense like this tbh.  Hackney isn't a number 10, and he's not a left sided player either.  Need to get the squad sorted out properly in the summer.

Brought some very personal and poignant bitter sweet family memories back there with the October '70 match, thanks Erimus!

I've got that 1970 programme weirdly enough, in among a load of random Boro programmes from various seasons, all from older family members.

For a few years I've parked close to the transporter bridge & walk to the ground & if early have a drink in the ground

Thanks. Umm seems there aren’t many pubs nearby your place for away fans these days.

There must be some pubs, I dont usually go for a pre match drink & certainly dont go the townside of the Riverside, hopefully, someone will know where you can get refreshment in the town before the game, I'd like to think there is
