Expecting a draw for this one. They gave Forrest a tough time in the cup.

I think Carrick will experiment somewhat for the remainder of the season. I can't see us making the play offs (maybe scrape into 6th but personally I doubt it).

We are in no danger of getting relegated. So why not take the opportunity to shuffle a little bit and check options now that we have players returning?

Anyway. 1-1.

  • Carrick saying Hackney played really well at number 10 on Sunday, which I don't agree with at all, I'm hoping he's back in central midfield tomorrow.

    Just glad Bristol are knackered!

1. Score and lineup predictions?

Hopefully we get one of those games from last season where we go 3 up by half time and can just coast to the win. So I'll go 3-0 boro.

Would love to see mcgree back.

2) Where do you think we will finish in the league?

7th. Just not consistent enough this season.

3) After Keiron Scott's interview, are you expecting any free transfer signings? Who would you recommend?

doubt it. I think we'll keep our powder dry for the summer.

4) Who are the best and worst people to come from Bristol?

Best: Does George Friend count? Close enough I think

Worst: anyone who was nasty to George Friend when he was growing up

Hoping for a win today . Players should be fresh as only had the 1 game in the last 18 days and with McGree back we should be more balanced up top.

For all the comments about being caught offside/missing chances I thought Greenwood had a good game last week with his energy and harrying so think he will start up front and Forss out wide. In midfield we need to see Hackney in his proper position and suspect it will be Howson alongside him.

Going for a 3-1 win and closing the playoff gap

They should be feeling 120 minutes of football from wednesday in their legs. So just go out and play high tempo and we will wear them down come 65-70 min.... 😉

No slow, slow tempo today surely, Greenwood & if fit Forss have to be in their faces from kickoff

The "leaked team" according to fmttm. Sod the h8rs

It's an interesting team if we're finally seeing O'Brien and Hackney starting in midfield together.

Was hoping Dieng would be back today.

@Smogzilla. Good team that.

Dieng for Glover and Jones for Greenwood and that would be our strongest 11 imo. Forss up top and not Jones.

* harsh on Engels as thought he had a good game.

** buzzing to see Hackney and OBrien together. Really hope they work

Engels has improved hugely since start of season. for me though he has a big weakness - his lack of speed. Not helpful for any player, but as a full back expected to get forward a lot, it really is a problem. Giles wasn’t as good defending as Engels, but he could often recover with his speed and at least make it difficult for a winger. Engels is sometimes left trailing, or tries to make a tackle high up field because he knows he won’t match a winger for speed and it leaves us open on the left side. Of course, the other defenders should help out with cover, but we do seem to get caught out nearly every match. It’s a shame as he’s actually pretty good as a standard full back - or maybe even the left of three centre backs.

There must be some pubs, I dont usually go for a pre match drink & certainly dont go the townside of the Riverside, hopefully, someone will know where you can get refreshment in the town before the game, I'd like to think there is

Police have been putting away fans in Bloom (old Spenceleys) and another new bar/club (cant remember name) just up from there opposite Barracuda.
