It's like 1925/26 all over again.

Flatter to deceive.

Too inconsistent to mount a serious promotion challenge.

Too many points dropped at home.

Too many goals conceded.

But on a positive note, we smashed the league the season after.

I really liked our team last season.

Plenty of doom & gloom on here, wanting the season to end etc, accept footballs not always a bed of roses, certainly isn't with the Boro, last year was a one off, goals from everywhere, excellent football which sort of fizzled out before the end of the season. This season started poor, improved slightly but a season of so many ups & downs with a horrendous pike of injuries. Hopefully the 3rd season of Carricks term as manager hes learnt from the good & not so of his time here, along with the recruitment team bringing in players the management have targetted

Indeed.  And every single game potentially could be a good game of football that's worth watching regardless of the bigger picture.  I like watching football, and I like watching Boro.  I'm fairly sure we all feel the same so the next game is another chance to watch a decent game.
