10 points outside a playoff place, really tall order to not to only bridge that gap but to overtake otger teams between us & Hull

The big thing is to win & win well, get the first back to back wins of 2024 & maybe in a few weeks/month & its too much of a gap then Carrick can start to introduce some of the talented youngsters in games, which will be big games for them, see how they handle themselves with, fingers crossed, the youngsters been more involved next season, we could have another Hackney, Fry, Coburn etc, in amongst the group

Agree, but as Carrick has shown over his selection of Clarke after been out for so long, he'll introduce Paddy over a few games, my reason anyway

Back to Boro v Plymouth games of the past, we played Plymouth at home twice in succession in 1990 league followed by FAC & IIRC, the Plymouth keeper was booked in both games, even similar fouls!

Pre Sunderland MC said Bangura was 8 weeks so at best he returns on 1st April.

He is expected back before season ends.

i dont love dijksteel at all. hes never fit error prone. but he does have decent pace and can make a difference in games. but the other week mind, he was poor. i dont think he looked fit at all really. probably why ayling is still starting in front of him.

engel is just poor at fullback. i actually think engel might make a decent cb under carrick, left side of a 3, hes decent in the air not to slow and comfortable on the ball unless really pressured. if at cb he could launch it. at fullback a few times he rushes a pass and gives it away really poor stuff sometimes.
