Boro v Plymouth 0-2

Recommended Posts

I'm really desperately hoping to see some semblance of rational team selection, tactics and awareness amongst the team. Everything showing signs of something starting to click, albeit too little too late but at least it's an opportunity for a blueprint and planning for next season.

What I am expecting is, why is he playing, why is he playing there, why have we gone back to a back four and conceding sloppy goals, why, why ,why and some more whys?

Hoping it's the former, after the $#itty week the Club has had the Fans need something to restore faith in and the Club needs something to persuade the Fans to turn the heating off, tell little Timmy his Birthday is cancelled this year along with Christmas, and the Easter bunny has a hernia and will be on the sick so Daddy can buy an Early Bird Season Card.

For the 1st half at Leicester we were all pace & movement on the break , which we seemed to thrive on , helps when the other side come at you mind .  We took a bit of a pasting 2nd half but organisation was a lot better at the back & VDB is a monster of a player  who was organising much older pro's about . More of the same should see us home here  & also mention to  Finn who is slowly looking the part  & the energy O'brien has added helps

I'm on a hiding to nothing here...I've lived in Plymouth since 1969...Most of my family are Argyle fans...When folk down here ask my why I'm a Boro Fan I tell them it's because thats where I'm from and have always supported Boro...That's just the way it is...I will always be a boro fan until I draw my last breath...I've recovered from our buying Finn Azaz from Villa I got Pelters from them...Like he was their Player, He was on loan to Plymouth...So to my family I say good luck but I hope Boro bury you at the riverside...C'mon Boro

Expecting an open game with lots of goals, given neither side can defend  (and Glover will be in goal)

I've revised my prediction, 5-3 to Boro.

It does have the feel of a game with a few goals in it except for the fact that we haven’t scored or conceded many at home this season.  Maybe this game can buck the trend?

 But which one? 🤔

Actually, as nice as a big 4 or 5 nil win is, I think 4-3 thriller gives more excitement overall?

I'd love to see Boro dish out a good drubbing.

Been a while since the last one and I feel we have too many squeaky bum matches as it is.

Apparently there is a special rainbow ball being used in today’s matches, and for every goal scored some money gets donated to a LGBTQ charity so there’s a decent incentive to see plenty of goals scored.
