Redcar Rioja 6,772 6.6k
1. Will Carrick finally see sense and drop Glover? I don't think he will as that would be an admission of screwing up in both his selection of Glover and his handling of Dieng especially if the rumours are true and he has been naughty stepped. 2. How quickly will Dieng concede from us playing it out from the back if so? I think the problem is collective with the personnel unable to make the tactic work so as someone might say it's inevitable but I'll go for the 17th minute. 3. Have you ever had an oatcake? Never, at least not knowingly. 4. What's your favourite thing to come from Stoke? Dinner plates Score: 2-0 to Stoke Team: Glover Ayling, VDB, McNair, Thomas Barlaser, O'Brien Forss, Azaz, McGree Greenwood (nb. not the team of formation I would choose but the one I expect to see)
TheJew 3,167 5.2k
The relegation battle commences here, just like I prophesied at the beginning of the season. Inevitable!

TLF10 4,928 6.6k
@Erimus74 you will be able to confirm but pur record at Stoke in recent seasons is pretty sh*t is it not? I recall 1 win there in recent times and that was Warnock’s first game during the peak of the pandemic?

Downsouth 6,733 36.2k
Stoke are in trouble their fans must be looking forward to Boro turning up. However a sneaky feeling that we could win this but also a sneaky feeling we could either lose or draw! That's the bases loaded up I guess lol! 1
Kaluzny 9 11
We’re far better away from home. I expect we’ll play 3 at the back and try to counter, which is how we’ve gotten our better results this season. 1 - 0 Boro, Finn Azaz.

As far I'm aware we've only set up that way against Leicester and Chelsea, so doubt he'll do it v Stoke. Interestingly Carrick said the Plymouth defeat was 'on him' though, so I expect we'll see something different in terms of personell. To be honest he could just play our usual formation with players in their best positions and that would be an instant improvement.
Borodane 6,815 26.5k
Can't see ud winning this. It's certainly going to be an ugly game and defensively we'll probably selfimplode again and gift them an easy goal or two. Mildly excited to see who Carrick plays out of position again. Plastic Goat 171 293
The only significance of this game is it could push Boro into the relegation mix. I don't think Boro will go down TBH. Boro 's season is now a damp squib.
GrimsbyBoro 2,082 2.7k
I keep wondering to myself “how bad is Hoppe?” We will play absolutely anybody upfront instead of him.

I don't know whether the stats have changed under Carrick's tenure previous seasons our wins come with less possession than our opponent. I.e a counter attacking style. We don't win 'generally' with the ball.
