It's more that Thomas is on loan and there's nothing left to play for, Engel has shown he can play well at this level on a good day and it's giving him more time to improve for next season.

Unless we were selling one of Engel or Bangura, if both are fit, playing Thomas doesn't make sense to me.

On the other hand if we're considering signing him it would be good to get as much of a look at him as we can before deciding. If we'd made the decision we don't want him permenantly already I don't think he'd be in the team.

No arguments with any of that. Thomas v engel and Greenwood vs azaz the only ones that don't pick themselves for me & there's no real iron clad arguments for any of the 4 players. 

So good to have a striker on the teamsheet.

The other point about Thomas is if we are undecided whether to pursue him in summer then it makes to play him. We know what Engel and Bangura can offer so if Thomas is still a 50/50 in terms of being a summer transfer makes sense to play him.

Likewise with Clarke over Paddy. If Paddy is leaving in summer then why not play Clarke when you can given he hopefully here next season.

If greenwood is at #10 it might not be as bad, still do t agree with the change tho.

I think azaz has done a lot of good things but also a lot of bad things. He's played the majority of our games since he came in, I think a game coming off the bench will do him good. 

Nothing less than three points will do.
