The PM might call a general election - we might get some money off NI announced in the Budget - but if you're hoping for a Boro win, I think we're all out of luck. It might as well be Friday the 13th and Carrick runs over a black cat on the way to the match for all the chance we have of winning.

Hey - extra tenner in our pockets we can put towards seeing Boro get slapped every week 😍

I would like to see Paddy in for Barlaser. Engel for Thomas, Dijks for Ayling.

 Will it happen? Probably Not:classic_rolleyes:

Paddy-six-touch in cm? No thank you.

If Jeremy Hunt is really generous tomorrow, he might cut taxes to the point where it balances out the hike in Boro season ticket price rises.

Think Ayling is on his last chance to prove himself again for this one. He started quite well, he's obviously better than he showed against Stoke, like many of them are. But there's no point bringing Dijksteel on later if he's not doing well, might as well play him from the start. Still, last chance for Ayling so I'd keep him in for this one.

Thomas shouldn't start another game until Engel is either dead on his feet or himself playing poorly. He's not our player and so far he's looked like he'd struggle to keep his place at League One or Two.

Midfield is unfortunately stuck, regardless of what we do with the system. It has to be O'Brien and Barlaser. I'm not convinced they compliment each other particularly well but then we're not seeing the best of either right now. Even if Howson was fit, he'd hardly be a saviour for the team, so it feels inevitable we have to rely on players playing at their best in that position.

I wonder if it's worth sticking Silvera out right-wing for this one. I still think Azaz should be in the middle with McGree out left either way.

Dieng
Ayling VDB Clarke Engel
Barlaser O'Brien
Silvera Azaz McGree
Latte Lath

I really don't understand why so many people are calling for Dijksteel to play RB, he's average at best and is incredibly prone to an error.

I will watch tonight, hopefully we play well but win, lose or draw we have nothing to play for.

Do you prefer Barlasers slick passing to the opposition?

Barlaser has been poo but Mcnair has been atrocious every time he's played midfield since he signed for us.

Please let me know what errors Djiksteel has made resulting in goals for the opposition? Ayling has been directly at fault almost every game he's played plus he can't run and gets targeted every match. It's hardly like he's contributing in a attacking sense either....

Started 9 games under Carrick. Sent off twice, conceded a penalty, substituted once at half-time for being atrocious and it takes a lot to make Carrick act that early.
