QPR v BORO 0-2 (Latte Lath, Forss)

Recommended Posts

I am firmly in the camp that we need to find Howsons long term replacement this summer but I am also firmly in the camp the man should be given a 1 year deal.

His experience, calmness and footballing ability are still massive to us and will be next season when he should not be an automatic starter. Hopefully he happy with such terms.

We’ve been class today. Perfect game plan executed from Carrick and the boys. Forss and Latte up front is a top duo, excited to see more of that. Keep this momentum till the end of the season and who knows, going to enjoy this one. UTB

And against the Championship Form side too

Remembering all those who were advocating buying Willock and Chair in the window, seemed to be hardly any mentions of them during the game so did we just negate them or were they just ineffectual?

I would be all over Willock on a free in summer as a Greenwood / Crooks replacement. Can play anywhere across the positions behind the striker.

In the first half especially they were lively and the source of most of their attacks. Thought they both had decent games, especially Willock.

Special mention to Luke Ayling, Just given an interview on bbc tees. Despite his stammer, the man does not shy away and puts himself forward for such things when no one would blame him for taking a back seat on such matters.

Whatever happens in summer, he been a solid signing and I have massive respect for him as a man.

Im so happy we’re creating more chances and moved away from 4231.

I think having Forss and Lath up top five teams more to worry about. I also mentioned having Howson back has been quality, but I think he’s shown how far away Barlasser is off the pace.

Engel has also been really good the last two games and has again shown Thomas to be way off.

Agree, said that often on here, hes so vital to us but at 35 & I hope a 12 month contract is coming, but to develop & challenge we need him replacing, trying to put it the right way to show him so much respect is hard to put into words

In the case of Chair, I suspect the guilty verdict this week might have affected his performance. That said, we just played well and actually like a team.

Credit where credit is due, Carrick set us up today to be much more competitive and then upped the anti in the second half and we got the rewards. I thought Howson today was excellent along with Clarke but really there wasn’t a bad performance out there, real Jeckll and Hyde stuff watching this team
