3 at the back 4 at the back or 5, it makes no difference until you sort out the midfield cover in front of them. We were appalling in that first twenty minutes against Norwich and it all stems from the same problem not having midfielders who compete for the ball and who repeatedly get the wrong side of their man. Hopefully Carrick will have seen what we all saw on Wednesday and has had time to adapt his tactics otherwise I fear the worst today

He does need to start showing that he can be tactically adept rather than a predictable one trick pony.

We aren't advocating the flat back 5 that we started with which was ridiculously negative and invited pressure onto us. More the 3 central defenders we morphed into after the red card with Ayling and Engel getting up and down the flanks.

Ayling and Engel can't get up and down the flanks though that's the point. They both run through treacle.

They maybe aren't the quickest especially in the case of Ayling but Engel's goal from Ayling's pin perfect cross on Wednesday perhaps negates that. I'd rather have Jones on the right but if we can get get 60 minutes from Ayling and then 30 minutes for Dijksteel it should be enough.

Got to be sickened as an Ipswich fan.

Winning until the 94th minute and somehow losing.

Good. I dont want them to go up. Lol. Rather the 3 teams that came down went up as think it will make league more competitive next season that way.

Wow. What a result for Cardiff.

What a turnaround, 90+10 & 90+10, crazy finale there, Leeds now point clear

Southampton really have dropped off, we could finish off there chances of automatic promotion next week 😉

I want to finish as high as possible and Cardiff are one of the teams we can overtake so I'm disappointed
