69.1% apparently.  That was the lowest figure in our team like, and only Sam Gallagher had a lower one for Blackburn.  I take it he didn't have the best of games?

A fair few errant passes. Both when under little pressure and also a few when in promising positions.

Well that essentially ends the season, hopefully we can play a few games without some of the nerves in possession we've seemed to have developed this season.

Although it's probably more that our player quality just don't come close to last seasons.

He was pretty solid defensively, he slid in to stop a certain goal in the first half. Got into some good positions from an attacking point of view but was very wasteful.

I don't think we're going anywhere, we'll finish in the middle of the table.

For me, let's now focus on developing this team. The players who are contracted to Boro, in a style/system that we want for next season. Look at a couple of the young lads and see how they react to first team football and if they can maybe be a part of the squad next year.

Full steam ahead in preparation for next season. UTB

I've seen worse passing stats for Boro players.  Maybe it stood out a little more because everyone else was a bit more accurate.

He had a mixed game to be honest. Overall pretty average, like most today, but probably had two or three notable lapses that were disappointing.

Spent the afternoon at a spa celebrating my wedding anniversary and just read through the thread. Jesus, what a depressing season this has been. Beyond the obvious first choice XI, we're carrying far too many passengers and not-up-to-its. We need a massive clear out in June starting with every loan player bar Ayling, who's still not necessarily good enough for a promotion campaign. We're a largely joyless team to watch, and even when we win it tends to be attritional rather than enjoyable.

August cannot come soon enough. And the recruitment team need a rocket up their jacksies for the slop we've been served in the likes of Silvera, Greenwood, Thomas and (so far) Azaz. Surely to God our own academy players couldn't be less effective?

I'm *** sick of Carrick saying "it's just one game" and things like that. I get it, but we've had 15 or so "just one games" this year. I want to see him be passionate about driving standards up, expecting more and demanding the maximum.

You can't tell me that Sir Alex would have been OK with that. I know we aren't Man United and Carrick isn't Fergie, but I want to see a bit of it if you know what I mean

Agree, in a game, were lets be honest even if we won, wouldnt trouble the playoff pack, I would have brought on Finch before Silvera, give Finch a run out in a game with no real pressure against a championship team, instead of meaningless friendlies or against lower lwague teams in cups

Be bold Carrick

We recruited too many players who were not going to cut it. We took the cheapest option. We still have in my opinion, a squad who will just bounce around Chimp mid table. I think it will be the same next season. We are going nowhere with Gibson. The club needs revitalising, something on the lines of what has happened to Ipswich Town.New energised owner required. Thanks Steve Gibson for all you have done but your time is up.The club needs to move on.
