Just remembering all that debate over whether that Norwich game would give us a confidence boost, well it definately looks like it did!

It has been a good run but it did not feel as if we were playing with too much confidence in fact quite shy at times

Some promising signs. ELL continues to impress. O'Brien is growing in confidence with every game. Thomas and Ayling both had good games. I haven't given up on this year, but I don't think we are realistically in with much of a chance of the play-offs. I'm hopeful for next year though. UTB!

In contrast, if Thomas was putting in that level of effort and application on the other side we would be screaming to sign him up.

I think the lads just absolutely bereft of confidence, think in the last 2 games he's starting to show a fairly rapid improvement (albeit from a low starting point). Genuinely believe there's a good player in there.

Thomas was pretty good today tbf.

Thought he was roasted first half but steadied and improved second half. As LincsBoro said above he's probably bereft of confidence. He has played plenty of games at a high level so whatever he had may come back with encouragement and coaching. A few games left to see how he responds and grows.

*** it, I think I'd be fine with Ayling getting a permanent contract.

Have to be honest and say, at Leeds,  I really disliked him. Obviously,  that's natural, but he has done well after the first 5 games or so for us. I may be coming around to signing him .
