Says he's still expecting McNair, Coburn and Fry back before the end of the season, but they're not in training yet.

The comments about Azaz seem very similar to what people were saying about Mcgree after he joined in that January window.  Daft how quick people get written off.

  • Making the playoffs was always going to be a tough ask and this likely kills that chance officially. Still, to fight back into that game again and be the team likelier to win was very pleasing. W

Went over the applaud the Boro fans is what I think he was referring to.  Would quite happily have him back myself.

I'm from South Cumbria and you couldnt be more right about West Cumbria, it's like some weird form of Geordie Farmer, marra.

It's strange as Penrith, Keswick have an accent but sound OK, likewise Carlisle in the North and Barrow in the South but once you pass Cockermouth the Workington, Maryport, Whitehaven triangle accent is something else 🤣

Norwich winning 2-0, which is a shame.

Coventry are losing 2-0 though, which would mean we'd go to 7th if we win tomorrow.

A slender window is open.

Win tomorrow and we're 7th, 4 points off the play-offs with 12 points to play for.

And after tomorrow we still have Ipswich away and Leeds at home. But if we win tomorrow you can’t blame anyone for hoping. Stranger things have happened. But we probably need 15 points from the last five games and still hope Norwich slip up big time. And Coventry. And Preston.

We don't want Preston to slip up just yet.

They play Norwich next.

We'll finish above them if we match their results.

Still hoping that fixture congestion does Coventry's chances.

Forgot that Preston had a game in hand of their own.

But Southampton will be desperate to win that, tonight's results have opened up the door for them to sneak in to automatic promotion again.

that open goal miss vs Blackburn is looking pretty important rn lol. But if we pull it off and get into 7th with 4 points behind I’m not sure how close people want it to get before we get permission to ‘hope’ 🥲

The mental gymnastics to convince us that we still have no chance will be funny though.

Even if we win tonight I think we are down to 5-10% chance. Fail to win tonight and it’s curtains.

Mate, these are Boro fans your talking about.

We could be sat a point off 6th on Saturday evening and there'd still be people saying we have no chance 🤣

We're a pessimistic bunch at times

You're probably right, but I think being 2-0 up and drawing against one of the worst teams in the league can have a catastrophic effect on the mentality of those Norwich players. The pressure they'll be under now will be immense. You can't underestimate what that negative momentum could turn into.

They do seem mentally fragile, Norwich, even though they're capable of putting in a great performance when things are going their way.

Never seen a team capitulate as badly as they did when they had a player sent off against us.
