The comments about Azaz seem very similar to what people were saying about Mcgree after he joined in that January window.  Daft how quick people get written off.

  • Making the playoffs was always going to be a tough ask and this likely kills that chance officially. Still, to fight back into that game again and be the team likelier to win was very pleasing. W

Went over the applaud the Boro fans is what I think he was referring to.  Would quite happily have him back myself.

Hull have only won 1 game in 8 at home in 2024, if anybody wants a good old fashioned jinxing.

No wins at home in 5, their win away against Cardiff was their first in 7 matches.

We're in excellent form, especially away from home.

A Boro defeat is written in the stars.

Feels very odd that we're going into this as the form side and higher in the table, after the January hype surrounding Hull.

And general consensus seems to be Coventry have bought really well and are having a decent season - we're only 2 points behind them.

Yet this is about as flat as the club has felt since pre-Wilder. Seems like we're all waiting for next season...

Like us, they struggled for the first 1/3rd of the season to integrate so many new players.

These things are all relative. Compared to the same day last season, they are a point up so they have largely managed to keep level with where they were despite selling Gyokeres and Hamer.

We're 10 points behind where we were this time last year so we have gone backwards.

Coventry had about £15m more than us to spend and they seem to have spent it well. Assuming neither of us get promoted, then I think we will have more to spend than them this summer and ought to overtake them. But when you consider that it's less than 2 years ago that Coventry didn't even have a ground to play in, you have to say that they have done remarkably well. I'm not sure they can sustain it but that doesn't take away from what they have achieved from a very low starting point.

If only Ipswich got something out of the Norwich game it would have made this game so much more interesting. Although tonight the season ends effectively for whoever loses. A draw isn't good enough for either team so could be quite a good game to watch.

Yeah I agree, I think that some of the reason it feels flat is honestly because we've been very dull to watch of late.

Last season you couldn't take your eyes off us, it was high intensity, high tempo, pulsating football.

Of late it's been slow, cumbersome. It's yielded results clearly so you can't knock that, but I do find my attention wandering when I'm watching us.

Without the same excitement and engagement, I think you get a bit of a flat feeling

I think it's not great to watch, especially compared to this time last season. But we're still a million miles more enjoyable to watch than the warnock or pulis years so I'm still enjoying it personally. But I hope when we have the injuries cleared up a bit and new signings in we can find a good middle point between fluid enjoyable football and being solid.

It is unchanged

What sort of Boro fan would give the opposition an advantage by giving team news away before it's officially announced! 🤬

Hull might change their entire team now to counter our line up 🤦‍♂️
