Hladký absolutely saved their bacon in the space of 1-2 minutes. Two superb saves to keep us from winning, especially from Clarke's header.

Really good game of football, that. Don't think either team really deserved to lose but there was opportunities at both ends to win for both sides.

Lath is making this centre-forward business look simple, at the moment. Great delivery from Ayling too, could have had 2 assists with the Clarke one.

Think we gave a good account of ourselves today against tough opponents.

It's disappointing we aren’t going to make the play offs and you can look back on spells where we weren't picking up points but I think some people forget just how many injuries we really have had this season. The amount we've had was always going to make those period of games much harder.

With Hackney, McGree, Latte Lath, Dieng and Forss all fit for the full season I think we are looking at a much different outcome. Not too mention all the other players that have also had spells out.

Hopefully with some additions and the lack of important departures and a bit more luck on the injury side, we can make a real push next season.

Got to sort the injury issues out as regardless of who we sign if half of the squad are on the treatment table again next season it's not going to work.

Stated many times that next season will be the chance to shine really feel that as long as we keep certain players and introduce beter players than those who will be leaving

Even just those two have shown us since they came back into the side how big a miss they've been. And that's with a complete cock-up last time out from Dieng thrown into the mix, too, been superb the two of them by and large.

Not only injuries but we lost a few players in January and have had to bed in a couple too. We've looked a lot more cohesive in this run of form.

Yeah, even having a centre forward for that period where ell and coburn weren't fit could have been enough to get us into play offs. Ell is firmly first choice up front now, but he needs some real competition next season, someone who we can bring on at 60mins if ell is having an off game and make a difference.

If you look at the last few performances it should be possible to improve to a point where we can challenge next season but we need to solve our frailty in midfield with Howsons replacement, somebody who could tackle would be nice. Another striker is essential but I have great hopes for LL next season. I have grave doubts about Engel his lack of pace makes him too vulnerable and the other full back place is down to whether we believe Ayling can keep going. Other places in the squad can created by releasing Greenwood and Silvera as I just do not believe they can achieve the level of this league

I’m just really pleased that we are ending the season strongly even though let’s be honest for the most part playoffs were always a long shot.

From a few months ago it was a pretty grim feeling around the club but ending on a high going into next season will really help give a feel good factor and some real optimism. There’s a clear base to build off now whereas 9 games ago I didn’t really know what that base was. Well done Carrick and the staff

We also need to get off to a decent start.

We’ve played catch up all season and ultimately despite some great form haven’t caught up. 

it will be an interesting summer.

Think safe to say we have been the victim of bad luck throuout the season but have been a credible team despite of that

RR do you not think that the injuries are down to the number of games we play, the players hardly ever get a chance of 7 days rest, which is what you need in professional football.

Yep a second option up front is needed but we have to invest heavily behind the striker and in midfield. A dominating cm and #10 are vital if we wanna go up, I’d also like to see Bangura tried at lb between now and the end of the season, I think Engel is just to much of a weak link.
