I think it has to suit us more somehow.     Everyone at Portman Road from the CEO's to the boot room boys and canteen staff are going to analyse that score from Plymouth and take heart from it.    It has to provide a lift for all involved, I'd imagine everyone at Leeds are thinking a similar thing.

Leicester are proving unstable, they look wobbly and seem to have lost faith in themselves.     Neutrals may feel a kind of empathy but for the chasing two directly behind it's nothing more than a bonus and we take every disadvantage that may come their way.     Anyway, they've been there recent enough and won the premier league recently while we haven't been back there since 2002, so suppose fans of other teams may ask the question, who deserves it more.

Middlesbrough played a big part in preventing us from a major achievement, in fact the highest of all, many years ago and we're on the verge once again of accomplishing something that everyone at Portman Road can take pride in, so with all due respect we'll be trying hard to go for the win tomorrow and provide ourselves a great opportunity of the long-time elusive return to highest league football.

Everyone from Lands End to John O Groats knows McKenna will start a 4-2-3-1 formation, he knows no other way, so suppose if Boro are to take something from the trip they need to plan a way around it.     Sometimes we play poorly one half and very efficient the other, we still have one or two influential players unavailable and not everyone is match fit but if the desire is there and belief to win, it should be enough to get us through.     It'll be tough though as not only have we wobbled ourselves last couple of games, Middlesbrough also need three points if they really are to finish top six by end of season.

Good luck after today, whatever happens I hope you achieve your goal & get into the PL its been a great couple of seasons back to back promotions after stuck in the first division for a few years, think the vast majority on this board wold like to see Ipswich promoted at the expense of Leeds

Well I never, ever envisaged a day would come when my seldom used statement would apply to the opposition but in view of last nights result think it is fair to say that this match for the Ipswich Town's perspective is THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE SEASON.................so far!!!!🤔

As Boro fans I do believe that we admire your club and the manner you have played football and certainly a lot of us hope you achieve auto promotion but as I am sure you understand not today!

Good luck Tractor Boys👋

Whilst I would much prefer Ipswich to gain promotion this season, we have to be practical. For our prospects next season, it is preferable that the three demoted teams with parachute payments go straight back up. With only one season in the Prem the likely teams dropping out this year,(Burnley, Luton and Sheffield) would appear to be far more manageable from a financial clout viewpoint .

Really looking forward to the game as I would think Michael Carrick is

Noway would I class the game as not interested, no disrespect to the Ipswich Town fan on here because I say he would think exactly like us, but we want to win, I want us to win & I would like to see Ipswich go up automatically

The way its panning out it could be, Ipswich & Leeds in the top 2 with Leicester in the PO's

Thanks for "stopping by". 😁

4-2-3-1 is Carrick's go-to set up, but our injuries have forced him to be creative at times...and we've usually had better performances & results.

We have usually been better on the road this season, but as I said in an earlier post, motivation must surely be a massive factor in this game. You guys could still potentially be league champions and will be desperate to keep Leeds below you, whereas our play-off hopes are remote at best.

I reckon we'll give you a good game, but won't be taking any points home. Best of luck for the rest of the season!

Am sure someone told me once that if a bird left it's mark on your car it is good luck!

Well when I went out to my car it had been plastered by birds seemingly having bombing practise on the outward flight to the local fields horrendous amount and took 15 minutes to clean!

Lucky? who knows will have to wait and see.

Leeds the only team to beat Ipswich at Portman Road

Silvera for Greenwood the only change.

Neither of them have demonstrated they can make that position their own, they just highlight how much we miss McGree.

Hopefully Silvera has a point to prove after a middling debut season and playing second fiddle to Greenwood.

Pleased to see Silvera instead of Greenwood, cant see the point in playing loan players who wont be here next season. I do realise that may well include O'Brien and Ayling but it seems completely daft to me.

Difference is Ayling and O'Brien are producing decent performances and there a chance we could explore permanent deals for them if price is right.

I don't see the above being the case with Greenwood or Thomas. Not really produced and don't see us making a move for either
