Ends as a draw.

So we're 9 points behind West Brom and Norwich with 3 games to play.

It'll finally be over if we don't beat Leeds.

  • I do feel for Dijksteel though getting all this criticism, not that he wasn’t bad but it’s horrible to watch someone struggle like that when they’re clearly trying their best.

Just viewed highlights as couldn't follow the game earlier.    Not sure where to start but Leeds scored four at Portman Road against us earlier this season and whether we like them or not, have to adm

I have heard that he could be either a tur key or a don key but opinion around me appears to be divided at the moment

Not sure what Greenwood is key to, with his one assist and no goals in 2024.

was very hopeful in the first half of the season but he doesn't seem to have a real end product and although he is energetic with his pressing, is too likely to give away unnecessary fouls and ending attacks, so I think unless a deal was stipulated prior to his arrival, I would look elsewhere

I don't for one second think we're actually making the play-offs now, but the mathematical chance is still there at the moment, so Carrick and co can't write it off.

One positive if we do drop points tomorrow is that it would allow Carrick to experiment for the final two games without issue.

Just want an open and thrilling game ending i a positive result for the Boro.

This will be a classic game to watch I believe with thrills and spills in abundance!

Now please contibute to this MDT it could go a long way to ensuring that this becomes the best season's threads total.

Still annoyed it's on a Monday night.

I don't get why it makes such a difference, because I'd have no problem with it being on tomorrow night, but something about it being a Monday just angers me.

The TV screwing around with the schedules again caused the Monday night in the first place but Leeds have another game away to QPR on Friday night this week so imagine if you are a Leeds fan.

I'd rather not, I imagine they spend a fortune on their 6 finger gloves

That's the least of their problems, you try getting a pair of size 9 cloven boots!

Monday night games are always annoying for me. Have to work all day then cover the game after. Not very productive on Tuesday haha.

Haven't really been following our progress lately, mainly due to a sense of indifference stemming from the way the club's handled the second half of this season. However, I'm watching the game with three Leeds fans tonight, so hopefully we can pull a decent performance out of the bag.

What team would you pick?

Probably a 532, which has worked well for us. I think the team picks itself with our current injuries.

What's your favourite thing about Leeds?

Having spent the first eight years of my life in Bradford, I'm tempted to say the ring road that gets you to Bradford quicker. However, I do like Leeds as a city. There's some nice architecture (the Corn Exchange is stunning), the shopping's good and the people are friendly. Leeds has a more relaxed ambience than Manchester, Newcastle or Liverpool, where it usually feels like aggro is never far away.

What are the odds on Bamford cheating yet again?

Evens. Though I'd still have him back here, especially considering how low his stock has fallen among Leeds supporters (and considering we've spent the season with a half-fit Coburn and a rough-edged LL as our only attacking options).

Will we derail their promotion push even further?

I think Leeds will win tonight, so no. However, I think the top six will finish the season pretty much as they are, with Leeds in pole position for the play-offs.

Questions -

What team would you pick?

...................Finch............Latte Lath..............

Engel...Azaz...Howson...O'Brien...Jones

........Clarke...van den Berg...McNair.......

...............................Dieng................................

Or you can get the fancy version here Boro v Leeds (imgur) Possibly have Bangura instead of Engel if deemed match-fit.

What's your favourite thing about Leeds?

Probably Roundhay Park. I actually lived there for a while as a nipper. Dad would take me there for events, or just for a nice wander around in a big green space.

What are the odds on Bamford cheating yet again?

No idea...I'm not a betting person. But I'm sure he'd love to get one over on us. 🤷‍♂️ Probably won't need to cheat as Leeds have been way better than Boro this season.

Will we derail their promotion push even further?

Unlikely, but...

[insert Kevin Keegan "I would love it if we beat them" gif]

Personally I'm predicting the visitors will come out on top in the Tees-Aire Derby (and possibly a riot after the final whistle, unless Cleveland Constabulary are really on their game). Middlesbrough 1 - 2 Leeds.
