Where do people get this imagined ‘criticism’ from lol, who’s criticising Dieng other than for them stupid passes? It’s like all the Azaz stuff, about 2 or 3 people said something daft about him.

There have definitely been Boro fans saying they'd sell Dieng.

One of them posts on here.

It got even louder after the rumoured PL interest.

Some people were even saying that Glover should be the new number one after a handful of bang average games.

Also, Azaz has 11 goals and 10 assists. It's his first season at Championship level and he's had to adjust to a new team halfway through. If anybody doesn't rate him at this point, I don't know w

It's quite striking that Gilbert looked immediately more in tune with our other forwards than Greenwood ever has, despite barely playing.

Nahhhh I'm done with this guy haha. He's either a pure WUM or he's the most negative Boro supporter ever, never seems to find joy in anything. Even @TheJewposts positive comments from time to time. Ju

We were the moral victors against Leeds, so that's another 3 points to our tally.

If West Brom get beat by Preston and we beat Watford 15-0, we're going up!

We only need 12 as West Brom will concede :classic_biggrin:

Overall a disappointing season.Yes we got near the playoff places but not good enough. First seven games without a win, four points conceded to the worst team in the league and schoolboy defending cost us many more. Frustrating doesn't come anywhere near describing it.

Typical Boro fan to snatch negativity during a period of positivity…

It's ok, in about seven months they'll catch up to the fact that we won 4-1 today.

End of season game,Cardiff players already in their deckchairs.Positivity is when you don't give away stupid goals. The Cardiff goal being a prime example.

From reading over the match thread it seems like the first half was typical end of season fare with neither side playing particularly well then in the second half we improved a lot?  Or was it just a mad 15 mins where we just clicked and everything came off?

A couple of nice finishes for us, the goal we conceded was certainly interesting.  Dieng must be trying to get his key pass numbers up 🙃

I think Cardiff just started chasing the game when we scored the 2nd and it opened things up quite a bit.

Ah right I see.  I was wondering if we'd changed something at half time. How did the younger lads look when they came on?

Some nice touches but nothing more than that.

Most impressed with Gilbert tbh, looked very good on the ball, some excellent passes and a great finish for his goal.

Cardiff were a bit rubbish, but could have been a different story but for 2 very good Dieng saves

I don't think they did much bad or good tbh.

There was a chance for one of them to score late on, but I don't think he was expecting the ball to fall to him.

And how was it for whatever team you support?

I watched the highlights on Sky Sports but you don't really get a feel for the game from them.  I saw Cardiff had a couple of chances, Dieng did well to save the chipped effort but that came from more sloppy play from us I think?  The save from the header was good, looked like he tipped it on to the post?  Gilbert and Lath took their goals well I thought.  It's hard to know what to make of end of season games as you never quite know who is really up for it but it looks like it was a well deserved win either way 👍

That's why I'd have liked to see them start and get a full game to have a look at them.
