Terrific interest in this game I see!

The forum members clearly want to see this season as being a record breaker!😏

How on earth will I manage to post 250 plus comments in this thread? 🙃

Now now Alan, sarcasm doesn't suit you! 😆

To be fair to the forum regulars the season is effectively over, so not really surprising that interest is waning.

Soon be time for me to take my annual break as all the chat will be about who we may or may not be signing (I prefer to check the BBC pages and find out when we actually get a player). 😉

Probably still a bit too green.

Would like to see some of the U-21s get a chance though. Guys like Gitau, Traore and Nkrumah or Finch.

Tbf mate, I’d say McCabe and Matthews are probably closer to first team standard than the ones you mentioned.

I know a lot can change, injuries etc. but I believe Finch and McCabe are the two youngsters that the club fancy to break through to the first team. Not necessarily next season but in the next couple years. Charlie Lennon and James Wilson also, although they are probably a year or so behind in terms of development/first team experience.

Bangura must just be deemed not quite fit enough to start. Sensible. No point rushing him back for a nothing game.

His playing style will put a lot of stress on leg muscles so yea ur probably right, think he will still get a good amount of playing time. Could even see him at half time as I think Carrick will want to see him in games.

Glad to see Gilbert get a chance after a couple of decent cameos. Not expecting huge things from him right now, though. Intrigued to see how he does but no big deal if he doesn't set the world alight. It's his first professional start in football and only his 11th professional appearance as far as I can tell so expectations should be tempered. Hope the young man does well.

Interesting Barlaser starting. Maybe one more chance to impress,I reckon he could/ should be sold  if we can get any reasonable offer. Personally dont think he is good enough if we have promotion aspirations next season.

Another Gilbert assist for Latte Lath would make for nice viewing

from what he showed the other night maybe the McGree replacement will come from in-house

I echo this Wilson it’s so good to see him finally get his start. To be honest I have seen more from him in his cameos than I have from Silvera all season
