I disagree, a midfielder can come on and take hold of a game, drive a team forward, crash into a few tackles to get the crowd/players going. I remember Hackney doing it a few times this season after a poor first half, we’d look massively better in the 2nd with Hackney at the center of it all.

Barlaser does none of that, recycles Possession, jogs around, plays the odd Hollywood ball. The Greenwood of midfield.

If we made any effort attck wise we could easily sweep Cardiff away as they are suspect at the back but yes far too ponderous and fannying about!

Pretty scrappy half so far.

Both teams managing some half-decent build-up play, but spoiling it with poor play in and around the 18-yard boxes.

Neither keeper had that much to do...1 good save each.
