Mostly draws in the Championship, with Watford losing to Leeds, so that's good for us if we can manage to get a win tomorrow.

Manage being the operative word!

Got a good feeling about Boro tonight they just may cause a surprise or three!

The hotel I'm staying in is in the back of beyond and I can only get wifi in one particular spot in the corridor, and only on my phone. So probably going to miss the game altogether, save from the updates from you insightful folk!

Premier Inn? If so, I think I’ve been to that one!

I would just get a chair and a beer and sit with my phone in the corridor! Sad I know but such is our life.

It should be an easy 3 points this. I read on here that Wilder is wedded to a single system, had no plan B, has been found out and is therefore easy to play against. Looking forward to exposing this charlatan for what he is.

Pity he hasn't already had his head turned by interest from a PL team... 😁

I'd love for Carrick to tactically destroy Wilder. Will be a tough ask as Shef have a good team. But West Brom was tough and we all saw how that went!

I'm in Germany, so will miss the game in person. Imagine I'll be banished permanently if we win!

3-0 Boro.

Honestly, the opposite is more likely...we all know how good his teams can be at ***-housing results.

But we definitely have a chance if they try to play open, attacking football, giving us chances to hit them on the counter like we did against West Brom.

They had more possession than teams usually do against us which meant we had more space to attack when we recovered the ball. That will suit us. It will be similar again tonight i'd imagine as long as we haven't had too much of a confidence knock from Saturday.

If anyone was looking for some encouragement, then I'm happy to provide it.

Boro have a good recent home record against the Blades with a record over the last 10 home games of W6 D3 L1 (including 1 FA Cup game), scoring 15 and conceding just 6. Although this stretches all the way back to April 1995, so it depends on your definition of "recent".

We also won our last fixture against them...a 3-1 away win.

Part of me desperately WANTS to feel optimistic and thinks we can get all 3 points. But part of me also expects Wilder to set his team up to ***-house his way to a win...although given some of our recent games, he could equally let Boro just do what they do.

Sheffield will be looking to avenge the home defeat we inflicted on them in our last meeting and also bounce back from their loss at Leeds, so Boro will need to give it 100% for 90 minutes if we are to get anything from this game. Anything less and we'll be looking at 3 defeats in a row.

Would like to see us adopt a different formation, given how we struggle to create good opportunities with 4-2-3-1. Maybe something like:

       [Azaz]         [Conway]          [Forss]

        [McGree]          [Hackney]            [Doak]

[Borges]    [Clarke]    [Van Den Berg]    [Dijksteel]

                                 [Dieng]

Maybe put Morris in midfield instead of McGree and push Riley into Azaz's position?

I’m quite torn on what I would do here. I think I might be tempted to play Jones on the left. He would provide an outlet and I think his defensive work is underrated. Hopefully some extra cover helps at left back.

I would keep ELL in the team. He’s not doing much wrong. I think the big issue is the type of chances we are creating for him. A lot of his goals last season were in and around the penalty spot with instinctive finishes. I still think if we supply him he will score.

The question it leaves for me is the 10 position and here I am not sure. McGree probably edges it for me.
