Neverbefore 12,621 27.1k
wonder if that's why Fry didn't play any part in the u21s game. Likely back on the bench?
Redcar Rioja 6,977 6.8k
1. Your first 11 to start? Dieng Dijksteel Edmondson Clarke Borges Hackney Morris Doak Azaz Mcgree ELL 2: Result and goal scorers for Boro? 2-1 Boro, Azaz and ELL t 3: On a scale from 0-9999 where would a neutral spectator rate that Norwich game? 9998 4: I am still optimistic, as I can see us coming out of this worldie/fluke/thing going on .. Do you still believe? Things don't change by accident so unless we start to address the shortcomings then we will continue as we are. 5: It was good to see Tommy Conway being sharp in front of goal, except that penna, but who will be our topscorer this season? ELL 6: Favorite player to have played for both Boro and Coventry? Keith O'Neill (struggling to keep a straight face), seriously though the real one has to be George Boateng! 7: Are you going to the game? You’ll laugh, but apparently Fry actually went off at half time because he felt his injury again, but hopefully it was just precautionary to take no risks and make it worse. Ravs is his knee. It’s in a brace and he’s going to see a specialist, so doesn’t sound short term..
BoroSmoggie 3,268 3.9k
For me though it has to be the same team (Clarke for Rav). Dijksteel if fit definitely keeps his place as does Conway. Can’t drop him after scoring two goals imo. I’m glad that we’ve now got a consistent set of players that make the first 11. Morris, Hackney, Doak, Azaz, McGree imo are all clearly first choice atm in their respective positions.
Redcar Rioja 6,977 6.8k
With us wearing an all white kit on Saturday will that clash with Coventry's sky blue kit as I believe their away kit is a white affair? There's probably enough of a distinction between white and sky blue but when running and looking to spot team mates etc. it may prove more difficult than it should. While I fully appreciate the sentiments behind this coming Saturday (and fully support it) I'm not a great lover of Teams changing kits for the sake of it. Last Sunday for example against Norwich, we play in red, why on earth change to an unnecessary white and pale blue affair, surely it's much easier to intuitively spot a colleagues red socks, shorts and shirt when you repeatedly play in that colour. There must be a slight delay in decision making on passing, crossing etc. no matter now minor it is.

We have an all black 3rd kit which we have worn twice and not won in yet We wore it at Leeds so safe to assume we'll wear it Saturday

Neverbefore 12,621 27.1k
I totally forgot tommy smith existed. Lenihan must have had a real serious reoccurrence of his issue considering there's barely been an acknowledgement of his injury at all
