Boro v Luton 5-1 (Burgzorg (2), Latte Lath, Azaz (2))

Boro v Luton

Riverside Stadium

Saturday 9th November

Kick off 12:30pm (Don't sleep in!)

On Sky again, woohoo

Well well well! Is this it? Is this the start of a DZ authored MDT run? Some great goals against QPR on Tuesday night saw Boro win 1-4 but Donald Trump became US President again. Ah well, swings and roundabouts innit?

Up next for the mighty Boro are Luton Town, who have had a pretty terrible time since coming down from the PL last season. They sit in 19th place and haven't won away from home since the middle of September, when they defeated Millwall 1-0.

Boro of course, have had a very mixed time playing at the Riverside, beating Sheffield Utd but then getting hammered by Coventry. If we're to have any chance of promotion we really need to start winning games consistently at home, and this is the perfect time to start, going into yet another International break.

Neto Borges came off against QPR with an illness, so no idea who will start at LB. Expect Hackney to come straight back into the side after serving a one match suspension, and Conway will probably keep his place after scoring against QPR (isn't it great to have two forwards who both scored in the same game, albeit one after coming off  the bench?)

DZ's prediction: 2-0 to the Boro.

Starting lineup?

Conway or Latte Lath?

Favourite Crisps? (Been a while)

Score prediction?

~fin~ (Azaz)

I think replace Hackney for Howson but at the moment that would be the only change bar an injury so that currently means Conway over Lath although perhaps give Lath a bit longer off the bench.

The only answer to this is Flame Grilled Steak McCoy's. (Also enjoyed the original cheese McCoy's before it was replaced with cheese and onion).

I'm going to let heart rule head and say 2-1 Boro. But with Luton winning and our form it could be anything.

I’m going over for this one so with my recent record of Boro games I don’t fancy us to win 😫 Port Vale was the last time I’ve been at a victory for Boro.

Time to get DZ and Blanco on a run of wins 💪

Just don't do an interview with the club website about why you've came over from Ireland and we'll be fine. 😂

We seem to be getting jinxed by the overseas supporters right now

Lad from Thailand comes over for his first ever live Boro match, club interviews him, we're beaten 2-0 by Bristol City.

Two lads from Hong Kong come over for their first ever match at the Riverside, club interviews them, we're beaten 3-0 by Coventry.

Thankfully you've seen us win at the Riverside before 👍🏻

Luton have had the edge over us of late and so we need to reverse that trend.

Will be a good game to watch and probably quite an intense game,

This will not be a 0-0 result of that I am certain.

We need to get back to back wins as our home form is not what it should be is it?

Besides a three authored MDT by DZ would be most welcome hey @Rob

I think the only decision to be made for this game is whether to bring Hackney back in for Howson.

We won so Carrick may want to continue with a winning team, however Howson wasn't the best on Tuesday night and we certainly don't expect to get 90mins from him.

Nice headache to have though.

I think Hackney will be back in. I also expect McCormick to play in place of Borges. He's been unwell for 2 weeks so something is up.

Really we should win. Unusually on Tuesday we started badly and went on to win. Normally the first 5 minutes are quite telling.

Get those long balls out to Doak going and we will win, it really is as simple as that these days. Just like when we had Giles.
