Boro v Luton 5-1 (Burgzorg (2), Latte Lath, Azaz (2))

I square down on my mam's knife that we should've sold Latte Lath to Ipswich when we had the chance and that Carrick, Woodgate and Carrick mk2 are not cut out for the job!

Enjoying this. Been a while since we really put a team to the sword at home.

Amazing how much luton have dropped off from a couple of seasons ago. There's only their number 20 can actually play a bit of football. The rest are just big lumps.

A near-perfect first half from Boro there.

Fairly steady start by both teams, but for once Boro showed some quality and had the greater attacking threat as the half went on. Started to get a bit frustrating as chances went begging or promising moves broke down, but boy did they capitalise on their 2 best chances.

Should be a happy dressing room & half-time team talk.

Lets hope for more of the same 2nd half. Carrick rang the changes and they certainly seem to have paid off. Linking up nicely in attack and mostly solid defensively.

Once we started to play, Luton were pretty much brushed aside. This is why when we underperformed, frustration manifests itself as we all know we have the ability to do well and win far more games than we draw/ lose.

Azaz and Latte Lath developing a brilliant understanding of each other's game.

Come on Boro keep it going!!

The worst thing we could possibly do now is sit off and invite them on as we did at Norwich and Watford. Their only chance of scoring is getting crosses into the box. Need to keep trying to score more

Big big credit to day to Burgzog, first start for a while and he has really put himself about and disrupted Lutons agricultural defence. Dijksteel and Morris are the pick of the others and finally credit to Carrick for adapting his tactics to match Luton. Very surprised how far up the pitch Luton are playing though I didn’t expect that
