  • Absolute buzzing what a way to sign off for the international break. Thought we were outstanding to a man today. I doubted the selection of Burgzorg but fair play to Carrick he got that one spot

  • For most of this season we've been in a state of quantum uncertainty (call it Xq). If you look at our "underlying numbers" we ought to be top of the league. But if you look at our results and performa

Goats of plastic, dancers of sand, deniers of xG..... Your pessimism is taking one hell of a beating!!!

What a great day!

Found those spaces and broke their press at every opportunity. We didn't need to get out of second gear

Nice way to go into the international break

That's arguably our best and most balanced starting 11.

"Recruitment has been tosh. Excluding Doak we have plodders. Ayling now runs like he's 50 years old..."

This was you literally 6 days ago, and I cut out three paragraphs slagging off other players, the manager and the team. 😂

Burgzorg was excellent today. Thought he made a real difference.

He is some unit I would have hated trying to defend against him, he shields the ball really well and has real pace, he could be a very good signing for us

Stood waiting for my lift, how a couple of solid games changes the picture

This league is for the taking presently. A run of 10 games averaging over 2 points would see us (or anyone else) heading top...

Goals are flowing now. Let's hope we hold on to this momentum for 2 weeks and start as we've finished...

Fair play to Carrick. He has been saying all season that we would click in front of goal.

I as critical that McGree was on the bench but Burgzorg took his goals well. I would still prefer McGree on the left when fit though.

Slow start and some sloppy passing but once we scored the first it was game over. Sparkling goals from LL and Azaz.

A third international break already is ridiculous but we just have to hope Doak in particular comes back fit.

I thought he was pretty quiet and ineffective until his goal. Then he burst into life. I'm guessing he's very much a confidence player

Agreed. It's great that we now seem to have an effective backup and alternative to mcgree, but riley is very much still the man for that spot

Also of note RF continued their "protest" today (also known as well and truly throwing their toys out of the pram!) and we still won.

Perhaps we don't need that drummer after all
