Boro v Luton 5-1 (Burgzorg (2), Latte Lath, Azaz (2))

For most of this season we've been in a state of quantum uncertainty (call it Xq). If you look at our "underlying numbers" we ought to be top of the league. But if you look at our results and performances, they've been mediocre. The gap between the stats and the real is so large that at some point it has to collapse. 

There's two ways that can go. The underlying numbers can prove to be the figment of imagination and we end up with mediocre results and stats or the real world turns out to be an illusion and the stats are true at which point we settle into top-two form. 

The last three games have been a whiplash. Winning comfortably then collapsing; imploding against Coventry; trouncing QPR 4-1 yet being lucky to end the first half ahead. To me it feels like we're now in a state of quantum collapse and what we'll see emerging from it is the true Boro. I actually have no idea where we'll be in the league in 10 games time. 

Win comfortably and clinically tomorrow against Luton with it feeling that no matter what they do, we always had enough to come out on top then I'll start to think the stats were true. Lose futilely as they set up in a low block and pick us off at will then I'll start to think the stats were false. 

We're fortunate that this season the league doesn't yet have any runaway leaders. Despite everything, it's still possible to see us challenging for the top 2. That really has to start against Luton. 

No idea how tomorrow will pan out. Pretty much anything could happen. Like eating a pack of Lay's Alldressed Ruffle chips: sometimes they're a party in your mouth other times it's like eating broken glass dipped in vinegar.

Reckon the score will probably be something like sqrt(-1):∳

Starting line-up?

11 football players...probably in a 4-2-3-1 formation. 😜

Given the QPR result, should probably stick with that starting line-up, fitness & injuries allowing.

 

Conway or Latte Lath?

Convert ELL into a #10 so we can have both?

For now would probably stick with Conway, but there is not much between them IMO.

 

Favourite Crisps? (Been a while)

Technically not crisps, but they are a baked, processed potato snack, that comes in tubes with a mustachioed fella on the can (paprika flavour).

 

Score prediction?

I find it hard enough getting up on a Saturday and getting to the game for a half 12 kick off with only a 20 minute drive, never mind having to fly in 😆

Good luck bud. Just ask if they'll open the doors over the Riverside and you can parachute in if needs be.
