    Only thing more embarrassing than this performance is this comment. Last 8 games we've lost 2, drawn 1 and won 5, that's easily play off form. 

I honestly think Giles is no worse defensively than Borges or Engel but thrice the player offensively obviously

    That said, I've always thought the play-offs were a much more realistic target.

    Unfortunately our defensive frailty lets us down again. We can score goals but we let one hell of a lot in. This aspect of the game seems to have passed Carrick by.

    Is it a surprise that a guy who thrives on having the ball and creating chances with lots of space struggles when we don't have so much of the ball and he's targeted.

    He was quiet in the Burnley game but still very effective when he did play a pass.
