Not particularly confident with that lineup. If they are as crap as there fans are making out then we should still win. I just don’t like Iheanacho or Burgzorg on the right. 

He's being given the same kind of chance azaz was getting to get back into form, which didn't work. He needed dropped before he found a bit of form again and I think burgzorg is the same. That said, Carrick isn't helping him by playing him in a role he clearly isn't good at.

I sort of get it. We're 2nd in the form table with this lineup. But I think that's him being too loyal and not looking at the underlying performances in context of who we were playing. If we put in the performances we did with the lineup we've put out against the 6 were about to play next, i think we end up with closer to 3-4 points instead of the 13 we got in the previous 6.

I get it, we’re winning games. Don’t change it.

But… Gueye is massive and Howson and Borges are going to lose the aerial battle everytime. Mistake for me not to bring VdB back in. Time will tell.

I get the feeling Boro are going to have a rough finish to the season - both due to not being able to field our best line-up, but also Carrick's positional picks & tactics.

We've had the "easy" games, now comes the reality check, I believe...

Still confident about this despite the concerns about the backline.

I thought Whittaker looked okay when he came on against Oxford. Is it really asking too much to start the lad and move Delano to the left where we know he can play?

More than okay. He looked good and the whole team functioned better.

Oh yes, if we'd played anyone with any ability to actually finish a decent chance then we'd have been in trouble each of the last few games.

Should have been 3 nil down by half time in the last one - and if he can't see how lucky we've been against these poor teams, it's fairly damning.

Can't see us getting lucky again tonight in terms of not conceding from some of the chances we've been giving away

I not a fan of wide players playing on their wrong side but , it seems to be the way lots of teams play. For me, left footed players play left side and right footed players right side. 

I realise that is me showing my age, next thing I will be saying is we should leave a player near the halfway line when we defend corners.
