they have a manager who knows how to change things & Carrick couldnt react

You could rinse and repeat this phrase for a lot of the games this season. It's the same every time. We never react. The coaching staff are entirely indecisive. They let the team pick itself, there's no intention behind it. Carrick falls into a winning team and doesn't change until he falls into another one, usually caused by the accident of having players injure themselves out of the equation.

  • Bristol City sold their top striker (to us). Millwall sold their two star forwards, Flemming and Esse and replaced them with a loan of our third choice striker. Coventry lost their star #10 on a free.

In 2025 our form has us 17th in the league. Appalling.

  • Looking forward to this one  Will feel like a preseason game 2 teams with nothing to play for, can hopefully just enjoy a few goals either way Will keep my eye on Mihailo Ivanovic and the 2

Opposition manager changes formation, made telling substitutions and fired his team up during the half time team talk and they came out hungry and mean.

Carrick just does Carrick yet again. He should have gone a long time ago. Just hasn't the ability to right his wrongs or maybe the humility. Whichever it is doesn't really matter as it all adds up to the same end result.

carrick trying to have us play like man city again. the guy is a fraud. should have been sacked last year.

constantly played players out of position

constantly leaving forss on the bench and playing the pathetic whittaker over him

playing nacho

the stupid slow build up garbage in the championship is totally the opposite style of what gets you out of this division.

scott needs to have a word to, bringing the likes of whittaker/nacho into our club. what were they thinking

I’d sack Carrick tonight. To be level on points with a team as limited as Millwall is purely down to our lack of effort which stems from him.

Time after time the opposition get in our faces, close us down and we bottle it, we lose the challenges, we lose the second ball and all impetus and control disappears. This team of Carrick has no character and no backbone and if there are still people out there who think next season under him will change then I have to be honest I think they are deluded.

Bleh.

Unfortunately this panned out much as I expected.

Boro were at their best in the first half - although thats not saying much. But we at least competed with Millwall and didn't let them dominate the game.

But Alex Neal rang the changes second half and as usual Carrick failed to adapt in time, after Millwall had been cranking up the pressure on the Boro goal for a while.

Some more headless chicken defending gave the hosts the only goal of the game...although they had chances to score more during a sustained spell of pressure.

Boro had a few chances too, but our shots were either off-target or straight at the keeper. If we had any kind of quality / joined-up thinking among our front 4, we might just be a dangerous team.

But chance after chance went begging due to misplaced passes, poor shooting and bad decision-making.

Even though I expected us to lose today, its still disappointing the way we lost. Another one of those matches where we were just so ineffectual.

Exactly how I thought it would pad out. Did predict 1-0 to Millwall. Wish it hadn't been right.

We haven’t half missed ELL and Doak

We weren’t great with them either

Do we really think there’s a strong possibility of Carrick being here next season..  I do

Yes, I think he will, should he be though, a big massive, NO he shouldn't

It's really not hard to play right people in the right positions is it?

Understand Howson album clearly burgzorg, azaz, whittaker were all set up wrong

Burgzorg Is useless on the right hand side and azaz is useless on the left

Morris was really behind the pace today, maybe time for rest with howson back in midfield and fry back in

Think the play offs have gone now unfortunately,  I can't see us not slipping up in the remaining games and we still need other teams to do us favours

Extremely disappointed and frustrated and I have backed carrick all season

He will definitely be here... no way he gets sacked...
