Muzzy Bundu plays for his dream move and slips in Tijani on the counter in the 82nd to seal a 2-0 win

Win on Friday

Get Thumped on Monday

Rinse and repeat…

You are Craig David, can I claim my prize?

or just maybe Bo Selecta?

Get thumped on Monday

Took her for a drink on Tuesday

We were making love by Wednesday

And on Thursday,

Win on Friday and Saturday, we chilled on Sunday

Snooker starts on Saturday...

He could be John Virgo 👍.

PS Where's the cue ball going

Sensational OP @Humpty you have outclassed yourself this time!

@Erimus74 all the best for your hospital visit I too am going through some issues which maybe concerning but do not become a victim in your mind.

The game well we will either be heartbroken or the flicker of what could be (not that it seems likely) could ignite once again.

To be honest I really do not know what attitude Azaz and Whittacker will show!

Yes expect a Boro win but you know our lot anything is possible probably a draw in the end

I think we're the only people on here who'll be watching it (I'd be there if I'd been able to get tickets). I'll certainly be watching it over Boro when they clash because Kyren Wilson and Luca Brecel et al (a) are guaranteed to entertain me and (b) won't break my heart...

Are they showing this on BBC this year I ask because I am sure I read that BT sports had the coverage this year and I will not be signing up to that

No, it's still on the BBC. This is from the BBC Sport website:

"BBC Sport has comprehensive live coverage of the championship on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Four and Red Button, while every match will be shown in full on iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and the BBC Sport app."

However, we have lost all the Eurosport snooker (and other sports) coverage from free to air viewing, because it's now part of Discovery+ and paywalled. The fragmentation of content is becoming really annoying now - Premier Sports, Discovery+, TNT Sports and Sky for sports, then Netflix, Apple, Disney+, BritBox and Amazon Prime Video for films and TV. And the licence fee. And (I'm told) you can't even torrent things any more.

Hi RiseAgainst, I have had tickets for the last 2 years but not going this year. It might be the last one at the crucible next year 2026 so will go to that.

What you need to do is sign up for the World Snooker Tour (WST) newsletter - Cue News.  You will then be eligible to book in the second window, so you can go online 4th May for next year, 2026 tickets. I normally aim for an afternoon session in the quarter finals, you will get tickets if you go on at 9am on 4th May.

Below is from the WST website you can subscribe for Cue News from there...I cant put a link up on this site. Its a great occasion and the whole area between The Crucible and Winter Gardens is taken over by the event...The commentary headsets cost 12 BAR but I would recommend getting one...

--------------------------

The second window will see general priority subscribers get their opportunity. The deadline to sign up for Cue News is at 5pm on Friday May 2nd.  Those who have successfully registered will be able to buy from 9am to 4pm on Sunday May 4th.

This window is available to all opted in Cue News subscribers, or those who register specifically for this window. Registration is free

Its why so many people resort to "alternative" streaming platforms (ahem).

Its ridiculous, bordering on scamming IMO, expecting people to take out multiple subscriptions to be able to watch everything they want. Especially when each one may only give them access to one or two things they're interested in.

Download Kodi and pay for nothing, apart from a VPN and Real-Debrid subscription.
