My enthusiasm for this game is rock bottom you just know there's no way we are turning up to even give it a go and Coventry be right up for this. I think we got to be as bold as we can be with this selection be pacey and aggressive.

                    Travers

Dijksteel  Fry  Borges  Iling-Junior

              Hackney  Morris

    Burgzorg/Forss   Azaz   Giles

                    Conway

Bench without Barlaser and áģŠheanacháģ please, 2 academy kids to take their places who are hungry/deserve their chance.  For me Azaz needs to go back in cam position as that's his better position and Giles needs to take his spot to run at players with freedom and put some good balls in box to feed Conway. Giles for me cant play lb, he's bad defensively we need to put someone behind him to give him freedom to do what he does well offensively. Burgzorg again pacey and direct, Forrs would be a different but I do think in that position he has the most quality and can get goals so I am torn.

Well the thing is Carrick (and by extension Boro's) idea of "giving it a go" is to be cautious, don't overextend and wait for openings. Stay calm and be patient.

We don't do the "come out of the traps flying" high-tempo stuff (except in short bursts on the counter).

I'll be genuinely interested to see how Coventry approach this. They can't be all that confident after the run they've been on. Will they be like us, or will they go full throttle from the whistle?

I wouldn't think we'll sit back at home, we haven't done all season apart from against Leeds that forced us to.

We'll go all out as our defence is , shall we say, vulnerable.

I'm not confident at all as we're decimated by injuries to key players, Dovin, Thomas, MVE, Torp and Mason Clarke are all likely to be missing, 5 players that would start if fit.

Should we not make it I hope that whoever does hammers Wilders lot

complete coin toss,

lampards another no plan b manager and will just try to win the game by how he wants them to play, which may be a good thing for us

probs why he had a purple patch then back to normal again once clocked by other managers

He got DC to playoffs in first year before he was sussed. Jumped to Chelsea before second season at DC could find him out, then two unsuccessful spells with Chelsea and Everton. Got good start at Coventry, but now struggling because of lack of plan b.  Sounds a lot like Carrick career could turn into something similar - if he had got the call from MU after that first season, it. Ight have been even more alike!

I honestly think given who everyone else in around is playing for Coventry a draw is enough, unless Sheffield united sod you lot we got the most chance against Blackburn in playoffs than anyone else and field a team of kids. So if we don't go for the throat and just be patient they might just think fine we do the same take no chances unless late on they need the result, which btw Lampard would tell them if they all of sudden needed the result.

No flies on you, eh?

You busted OMG's cunning plan to make us all miss the game and do something enjoyable / productive instead. 😆

Well you are known for that Marcus as we all know and for watching streams that are so far behind the action that it makes me chuckle when you post something we were all aware of for quite sometime😃

Up to this point this has been a very frustrating and disappointing season. Whether we get into the playoffs is really out of our hands. To stand any chance we have to win at Coventry. A win at Coventry will go a long way to putting matters right as long  as the other results go our way.Somehow I can't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong.

Was surprised to see you've actually conceded more than we have. Still think you'll have too much for us in attack.

We really struggled against every side we've played recently - a last minute penalty v Plymouth is the only reason we've even got anything riding on this game.

Still the only side in England not to give away a penalty this season.

So the odds are on us losing to a penalty in this game, or reaching the play-off final and giving one away there. 😂

Stop dredging for negatives.

Can't give away penalties if you don't bother defending 😉

I do genuinely think that's partly why we've not given one away yet, we're not great at defending in our own box and players rarely put a tackle in.
