Bit more of an encouraging excerpt from his wiki page.

”Watling earned his UEFA B licence at age 18, UEFA A licence at 26 and his UEFA Pro licence at 33, which at the time made him one of the youngest coaches in England to have such coaching licence’s.”

No, we shouldn’t sell our best players every window

That's certainly a fair point.  So if we had this current squad, and added Lath to it, would you say that squad is capable of winning promotion?

We need improvement in some areas I think, replacement for dijksteel who I feel wasn’t good enough, same with Ayling

He’s very good on coaching set pieces from reading about his time at rangers

Definitely an area for us to improve on. We’re crap at attacking and defending set pieces.

Right now absolutely not. The squad of last season with Lath in it? Yeah I think we’d have a shot. We were 4 points off making the play offs with loads of injuries

If anybody has Instagram and is interested I’ve just been scrolling through Watling’s account and he’s posted quite a lot of training footage with different drills etc.

Then it's not cheap.  I don't really know what you want me to say?  We're spending plenty of money as it is on players who aren't doing anything for us so why not spend the same amount on a few less players that can go straight into our first XI?

We only need to look at our left back position to see this.

How much have we spent on Coulson (new contract), Engel, Bangura, Borges, Giles loan Giles loan 2 Thomas loan.

Add that together and I bet that’s a decent championship left back.

You also have a bunch of money down the drain on loans and 3 players we would be lucky to see our money back on.
