Has Carrick put out any kind of statement on socials or anywhere after his exit? Liked the guy but lacks a bit of class if he hasn’t

Most fans turned on him by the end of it, he doesn’t owe us anything

Nobody owes us anything, but it wouldn't take much time out of his day to say he appreciates the fans who spent the last few years supporting him and the team. Like I say, I'm sure he will say something when he does his next TV thing

he never likes to give anything away to throw the opposition off their game

its going to pay off next season when the mangers pick their tactics to counter Carrick and its Edwards in the dug out, its why we haven't announced Edwards yet too :classic_laugh:

Have you been thinking about posting this all day?  What a bizarre thing to post.

Would you go posting on social media if you got sacked from your job.😂

I am also not fussed on a Carrick post sacking statement.

However, those asking which managers put out a statement after being sacked: examples below from last 12 months

1. Chris Wilder did this week

2, Sean Dyche did when Everton sacked him earlier this season

3. ETH did when Man Utd sacked him late last year.

4. Julen Lopetegui did when WHU sacked him.

5. Wayne Rooney did after Plymouth sacking.

6. Steven Schumacher did after Stoke sacking.

However, there are plenty of managers who also do not release statements. Dont think Mogga did after WBA sacking, dont think Paul Warne did after Derby sacking or Mark Robins at Coventry.

To summarise, some managers make statements and some don't.
