It’s the internet and a board for people to make comments, it’s always going to happen in terms of people not agreeing with certain posts, that’s just life and the same as if you were in front of the person having a conversation. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hopefully Edwards is appointed today so we can all take about something else. 😂

No I know im Not offended by any of it just didn’t see it as that controversial a comment for the replies that followed but it’s nothing I’m going to loose sleep about 😂

I understand the Piggy and the Central have got extra staff in for the amount of people being offered “outside” on the Facebook groups…

Would love if we didn’t announce him this weekend now SkySports have suggested it’ll happen.

1) because of the continuous meltdown by many of our fans crying about us not confirming Edwards already

2) to keep trolling the likes of Talksport and SkySports

Edwards contract has been sorted for almost a week, the delay is agreeing personal terms with the backroom staff. It was the same when we appointed Carrick, it dragged on for ages, his deal was done, but it took another week to finalise Woodgate’s contract. You’d be surprised how little we pay the coaching staff and will haggle over pennies. Carrick even offered to take a cut from his own salary to top up Woodgate’s to get the deal finally sorted (the club didn’t take him up on it btw).

You have to admit that it’s a genius media move from the club.

In less than 2 weeks it’s gone from an overwhelmingly negative reaction to the idea of Rob Edwards to now fans begging the club to announce him!

Regardless of your opinion on the appointment itself the club have played a blinder delivering it.

This is 100% why they have done it. Very astute if you ask me..
