BoroNBred 94 218
I’d take O’Neil, Cooper.
Hammy legend 1,244 1.3k
Don't want O'Neil, didn't want to be here and Wolves seem to be miles better now he's been replaced. Can't see Colin coming back into management, Steve would be a decent choice but assume that he may have a few clubs to choose from.

Hammy legend 1,244 1.3k
You never know, sometimes a manager comes out of leftfield like Rioch and was the perfect fit. It is possible Scott has a coach lined up that is a real surprise, and success.
LinoJo3 5,505 13.2k
I think Cooper seems the most likely/logical. I’d love the stars to align for Farke though.
Pongoe 116 105
What we need is someone with no managerial experience whatsoever, but who's well regarded within the game. Also, preferably someone who is out of work, we don't want to be having to pay compensation for a decent manager who's doing well somewhere else.
Hammy legend 1,244 1.3k
It has worked before Charlton, Robson, McLaren and Karanka. Plus Anderson did ok
Pongoe 116 105
Robson, McClaren and Karanka were given big money to spend. They did well in spite of the lack of experience. You can't give a rookie a job and then sell your best players and expect them to come up trumps. That's when the lack of experience shows.
Pongoe 116 105
On a serious note, I'd be happy for Mogga to have another swing at it, provided he's given money to spend this time and not have the rug pulled by Gibson like before. Danks from the recent past must come into consideration. I don't think Cooper plays the free flowing football some give him credit for, Swansea fans gave him pelters for the dour style of play even though they reached the play offs with him. Likewise, I don't think Dyche plays the brand of negative football that people think he does. He makes his teams hard to beat and keeping a clean sheet is a priority, but if you go back to the Burnley season when we both got promoted with Karanka here, and they scored more goals than we did. They also conceded a few more, they were just generally harder to beat. He's also never been at a club that's thrown money around, and always had to cut his cloth. Can't stand the bloke but he's an upgrade on Carrick.
