The article is just Carrick tosh. He doesn't learn because he believes he has nothing to learn. The mark of a numpty in my book. His press conferences and interviews are just second rate spin and white wash, from someone who knows Gibson won't sack him.  Ominous signs I'm afraid for a very long and uninspiring season to come.

Have you got a link to the article please?

No point sharing it on here they take a while to get approved. Just go on the gazette website it's the latest article written by Eric Paylor.

Article for Paylor this morning which seems to be speaking on behalf of Gibson. Makes sense as he's probs known him the longest.

It does suggest Carrick has or will be told to up his game, use different tactics and bring some desire to the team.

Whether Carrick wants to do any of that probably determines where he stays or not.

"Right, Michael, here are the findings of our detailed review. Last season was crap. Are you going to sort it with new tactics and more desire, or do I need to ring Uncle Tony again?"

"No, Mr Gibson. I'll change. I'll up my game for sure."

"Great. Who do you want to sign this summer?"

Is it maybe possible to have a kind of "pre authorisation for posters"? i.e. those who have to have been on the board for at least 18 months and have over say 4K posts to reduce the mods workload and time delays?

I'm thinking that most of us don't post inflammatory content and if someone does abuse it then the three strikes rule applies or similar?

nb. caveats obviously would be DZ posting crisp porn I suppose or worse still Arsenal pics and Nobby telling us that after his chat with Benali this week to keep an eye out for a Matt Le Tissier whose going to be huge in the game and is in his notebook already!

Wasn't a dig at any of you, it was more that it just is a bit annoying in general. I find it easier to not post links. It's maybe something to be re considered.

appreciate you are just doing as advised and doing it as quickly as you can.

Pretty standard opinion piece. Doesn’t say anything particularly interesting or anything that isn’t obvious.

If it did come from Gibson then at least the points are the ones obvious to everyone. And puts the onus on Carrick.

It would be worse if the conclusion was something like needing a team of sports psychologists and motivational speakers.

Or the players needed special blood circulation socks to improve the injury situation.
