Well we all now know what Boro's failure today has resulted in for the play off matches.

Sheffield United V Bristol City

Sunderland V Coventry

Over two legs I can only see SU going to the play off finals but Coventry have done themselves no harm as they now face a Sunderland team that seems bereft of ideas and simply have lost that winning feeling.

POF Sheffield United V Coventry for me.

And yes I think I will watch the games thinking about "if only"

Sunderland might go up. Leeds already up Newcastle win a trophy and get champions league.   Whereas we are backpeddling and still trying to decide if we want to keep our manager or

Shows you don’t need an amazing squad to get promoted, just a manager that gets the most out of his players 👍🏽

I try to stay away if we are doing well, or if you are struggling marra, cos I don't want to wind people up. Friendly rivalry is healthy, but shouldn't stop me from wishing you well. Us, the

Anyone but Sunderland.

As much as I dislike Wilder I Hope they *** off back to the prem. It's one less parachute club and let's be honest they are the 3rd best team and much more likely to be up there again next season over bristol/cov or mackems.

I can't see sunderland turning it back on again for the playoffs. 5 losses in a row is hard to recover from.

Can only see Sheffield going up. Would be nice to see Cov back in the prem though (mainly so we don't have to play them again next season).

I couldn't give a flying u know what tbh. But if I had to pick I'd want the Blades up as they are miles ahead of the other 3 and us performance wise. So get them gone, means one less parachute club to try to compete against, which is nigh on impossible.

Leic and Ipswich will be too strong next season. Hope Southampton do a Luton 🤞and struggle to get the winnings mentality in the Championship back

I think its going to be the winner of Bristol vs Sheffield united who wins the playoffs with Coventry getting to the final for few reasons Sunderland losing 5 on bounce and confidence low, they never beat Coventry there record is bad as ours and Coventry going in with momentum. I think Sheffield united will edge out Bristol city and win the playoffs though.

I honestly can't see past Coventry City, they looked fresh, quick & exciting against us, I know that isn't a good guide but they've done so well under Lampard, which I thought was poor move replacing hime with Robins but its worked out well. Sheff United have never won the playoffs either

Hoping it's Coventry, though I expect it will be Sheffield United.

Neither would bother me, as long as it's not Sunderland.

It definitely won't be Bristol City.

Worst quality play offs in Championship history

Sunlun comfortably get past Coventry in 2nd leg

Sheff Utd blast past Bristol

Sheff Utd beat Sunlun 2-0 at Wembley

Not bothered who goes up as it is very likely to be only for a season, just want to see whoever it is, play as though they want it and not win by a fluke
