Sunderland might go up. Leeds already up Newcastle win a trophy and get champions league.   Whereas we are backpeddling and still trying to decide if we want to keep our manager or

Shows you don’t need an amazing squad to get promoted, just a manager that gets the most out of his players 👍🏽

I try to stay away if we are doing well, or if you are struggling marra, cos I don't want to wind people up. Friendly rivalry is healthy, but shouldn't stop me from wishing you well. Us, the

Aye. This has got Garry Monk's greasy fingerprints all over it. Or are we still referring to him as, "He Who Must Not Be Named"?

I Hope Sheffield absolutely batter them. Honestly they are such a jammy team that always has luck on their side.

Not taking it well then marra. 😁

Tell you what's annoying when I've just thought about it...

It's going to be 3 seasons in a row where a team that's been in League One since we last got promoted goes up.

2022/23 - Luton

2023/24 - Ipswich

2024/25 - Sheffield United or Sunderland.

Sheffield United could be going up twice since coming up from League One.

Makes a mockery of the "it's impossible to compete with parachute payment" rhetoric that gets trotted out time after time. There's no doubt it's difficult but it's more than possible for a well ran club with a plan.

Odds on Birmingham and/or Wrexham next season!

You almost make it sound like a well drilled, synergistic and organised team with tactics that suit their strengths but the ability to switch and mix it up a bit in games when needed, all aligned by a passionate Coach, encouraging, inspiring, motivating and leading them to victory could work!

Crikey next you'll be saying if we had some set piece routines well rehearsed and planned for corners and free kicks we might even score a few more goals!

Nah, give me uninspiring metronomic, repeated, predictable, recycling and testosterone draining football every week 🤔

Justice done imo. 3rd and 4th in the final. No fan of either but Shef Utd deserve to go up given their points tally.

Wasn't bothered either way last night oddly, in fact Sunderland's goal made me smile knowing the smug Cov fans were getting a bit of our pain back at them given how they've done us a few times recently.

Anyway, good luck George for the final. No bitterness on my side. Boro just need to get our act together, would be ideal having all 3 NE teams in the Prem again

I reckon Ballard's goal going in so late in the game will have been like a Massimo moment for them. Pure unadulterated hysteria, relief, joy, euphoria and disbelief all rolled into one.

Good luck to them, Regis Le Bris has done a great job with less resources than Carrick has had and in a 1/3rd of the timescale. Jealous of them, yes but also happy for them.

Sunderland epitomise what we want from a team as fans. Weren’t the best over the 2 legs but stuck together and grinded it out. Stuck to their game plan and got it done. Even the tactics of putting the boards closer to the pitch to nullify coventrys threat. Hopefully Sheff Utd beat them, but honestly Sunderland will be right up for it. I fancy them, aswell as it being just 90 minutes

Really happy for @Georgewhitt, he's been great & respectful during my time on this board anyway, am I happy, not really, jealous yes, but his team show the least a team should show for their own fans, passion & energy, two very things Carricks teams will never possess

Honestly marra, in 60 years of following The Lads, I can count on one hand the amount of times I have experienced feelings like last night.

2 seconds to go man.

Still reeling now mate. 😁
