If it was Boro, we'd probably end up playing Hitler on the left wing and Pol Pot on the right wing though...

They'd be the worst one for me - I associate them too much with our own failure. Seeing them go up would really rub in how much we've shat the bed over the past few seasons. But yes, it's not a great selection to choose from... Bristol City would have been my choice (also they wouldn't have been able to beat us twice next season). But looks like that ship has sailed. I'd rather see Sheff Utd promoted, don't like Wilder for obvious reasons, but out them 4 teams next season who would I rather we were not competing with against for promotion and its Sheff Utd but at the same time if he fails in the final I'll still enjoy seeing the look on his face. Good to keep the number of parachute payment clubs down to a minimum, plus the usual trends would have them being highly likley to take one of the promotion spots next season.

Yep that's another positive for them winning it. Not that I expect us to be troubling that end of the table anyway, unless we have a 10/10 transfer window. LBP 4,126 6.6k
A classic case of I wish both could lose Think Sunlun will nick it 1-0 If worst comes to worst and Sunlun go up I think Mayenda on loan could be a nice option for us
boro-unger 4,605 17.9k
I can see Sunderland winning 4-0 or losing 4-0 tbh. Think Cov will do it tonight though.
LinoJo3 5,528 13.2k
Why would anyone want Sunderland to go up? It would be so embarrassing and annoying. I honestly couldn’t give a *** if sheff utd go up, the less recent prem teams in this league the better for us, 3 is enough.

Marvanelli 1,082 759
Watching some of these teams last two nights - mainly Bristol City, Sunderland and Coventry, just makes it even more frustarting how we were rubbish this season. These 3 teams aren't even that good....and yet all 3 did the double over us and fully deserved to finish above us. Just highlights how much of a sh!tshow we were this season.
