Sunderland might go up. Leeds already up Newcastle win a trophy and get champions league.   Whereas we are backpeddling and still trying to decide if we want to keep our manager or

Shows you don’t need an amazing squad to get promoted, just a manager that gets the most out of his players 👍🏽

I try to stay away if we are doing well, or if you are struggling marra, cos I don't want to wind people up. Friendly rivalry is healthy, but shouldn't stop me from wishing you well. Us, the

Watching the game the defending up to Citys equaliser has been first class, I just can't see any Michael Carrick team defending like the Mackems did, we would have caved in, then coming forward with pace, they make the game look so easy, we just huff & puff, look slow & sluggish

It's like we were in the play offs after all!

Could just see Dijksteel doing exactly that

In fairness Sunderland have planned, played and executed a blinder...

Despite my rivalry with them, they've done well.

Can't believe I'm feeling it, but Cov deserve a dose of what we have had to feel at their expense

Sunderland have something in buckets which we totally lack, mental strength, strong defensive unit who didnt cave in under pressure & broke away with pace

Luke O'Nien is a classic example of defending at all costs, why he gets abuse is beyond me, would happily have him in the Boro team

One of several prime candidates, for sure.

I know exactly how Coventry fans must have felt in that moment.

Can't stand O'Nien but you can't doubt his effort on a football pitch.

I think he's probably one of those you hate when he plays against you, but love him if he plays for you

Have to admit that we lack players who will "take one for the team" and sadly possess some that will actively shy out of a tackle. I realise that they want to avoid injury but it still makes us look lightweight when the opposition see that. ...  and they will remember it

Sorry if I sound like a broken record but Angus Thurgate is exactly that player, better all round footballer than Aidan Morris as well.

Nothing wrong with becoming obsessed with a player you know could do a job for the club....
