BoroDave4 1,945 3.8k
I always had a soft spot for 98/99, with the two vertical stripes either side of the central badge. Which is funny since I'm not usually a fan of a badge in the middle of the chest really
Redcar Rioja 10,171 9.8k
Original and best 1973-74 Bukta shirt but after that in the more modern era I quite liked, 2004-05 and 2006-07.
Denzel Zanzibar 9,073 16.8k
In the world's worst kept secret, Castore branding has replaced all Errea branding at Rockliffe. Official announcement soon. Probably not today but early next week

We're not exactly minnows in the Championship... Anyway, as long as they do the business, deliver a nice shirt with good supply, I'll be happy. TeaCider24 21,192 25.6k
They'll be trying to salvage their reputation after a damaging few years of kit issues, so I doubt we'll have any serious problems with quality.
Uwe 3,567 10.6k
The positive of Castore is that the shirt will be quality made (If their sports kit is anything to go by) but i always though it was ridiculously expensive.

boro_fan_in_brum 711 1.8k
Boro fans on Facebook must have horrible lives 🤣 Moaning about a shirt they've never seen or experienced what the service or stock levels will be. Mind blowing and utterly embarrassing, at least moan when or if its crap. 2

Arskite 76 803
Castore does not have a good past reputation, let's be clear. If they've learned lessons and can deliver on quality then I have no issues. But I wouldn't take the fact that loads of other clubs/sports are using them as a indication of quality. They are clearly undercutting established brands to get big names signed up, either by taking a loss on these top deals, or saving the money elsewhere (i.e. providing the cheapest stuff they can get away with while referring to it as "premium"). If they make a good kit for us, it doesn't matter, but it makes sense that people are wary.
chickenlunch 497 1.2k
Castore quality no different to anyone else in my experience tbh. Hopefully they'll do better non-kit items, cos Errea were absolutely terrible in that regard imo - things like jackets etc that you might actually want to wear in public for example.
BoroDave4 1,945 3.8k
I think it's probably unhelpful that most people's main exposure to Castore kits was that wet shirt they did for Villa, I think Villa just cancelled the whole deal with Castore after it
Riverside94 1,568 2.1k
Any idea when kit design is released?
