9 - I love pretty much everything about this signing. He's confident, he's always asking for the ball, he's nothing extravagant yet but he's kind of everywhere on his day. He's made a couple of mistakes but really, when you consider his experience and never having played in the Championship before, I can forgive that. The team was better with him in it and missed him when he was injured.

This kind of signing is a huge vote of confidence in the scouting and recruitment team too, finding a player from overseas who comes in and plays like somebody with years of experience in the league. It feels rare to bring in this kind of player for that kind of value recruiting in this division, particularly at his age.

7 for me. Up until his injury id say 9. I think that injury proved costly for our season also was ridiculous how many games he was playing both for us and the US. I don't think he quite got to those levels consistently on his return.

I think it did highlight how not having any depth in our midfield was a huge error in the recruitment department last summer.

That said id say he has been a great signing and will play a huge part if we are to progress this season.

7 for me too.

Started very well, picked up an injury and his form suffered. That was also partial to Carrick tweaking his position.

I think we'll see the best of him next season though.

It can't have been easy to move across the Atlantic and expect to hit the ground running.

6 or 7, decent.

Terrible shot, but a hard worker and I think he'll improve under the right management.

We were regularly caught out in midfield, but I'm not sure if it's down to the players or the coaching.

He seemed to drop off a bit after his injury.

8 for me. Would have been a 9 but his form has been poor since coming back from injury.

Hopefully an extended period of recovery will see him back to his best this season, there's a lot to like about the guy. Will be interesting to see who partners him when Hackney leaves.

Started really well and adapted very quickly to the Championship. He needed to as we had left ourselves short in midfield. More mixed after his return from injury but that may in part be because Carrick had lost the plot by then.

If he's given a more disciplined role next season and a simpler game plan, I think he can really step up a level. He seems like one of those players who really shines when he's in the right partnership.

I don't think his form dipped much after coming back from injury, I just think the team was struggling more so he was under more pressure to perform. I think he was still good in the second half of the season, for the most part. Certainly relative to some other players.

7.5

Thought he was excellent pre-injury however I agree that his form tailed off a bit post-injury with the odd sloppy mistake creeping in. In fairness though he’s still a young lad adapting to an intense league and he played a lot of football last season.

Definitely more to come from him this season imo.

6 for me. He has a great engine & a great attitude. Did well but he really needs to get rid of the ball a lot more quickly.

Tends to dawdle on it & get dispossessed on a regular basis. Not the worst of signings though

8 at the start, dropping to a 7.

He was on a hiding to nothing in that team though. Exposed all the time with no help from anyone in front of him, and has to try cover the endless issue that's our left back position. Not helped by there being no suitable bench options for him either.

Could excel in a better organised side.

7/10 for me.  Some good games, and some not so good ones but overall a decent signing who I think might have more to offer.

Agreed...   appears to be adapting and isn't afraid of taking a hit to win the ball. Think lack of support stitched him up at times but that was down to the system employed. Can see a bit of Gary Hamilton in him, so he'll do for me.

I don't think Morris will score as many Hammy did or take as good a corner , but I like Morris and he is a 7 for me.
